Heidi Heidi, the best way to do it, is to pick who you think is going to win each game. Then go back and assign each game a "confidence" number from 1-34. For example, everyone knows Penn St. will wax LSU, so you pick Penn St. and you assign it the "34". Whereas, maybe you can't decide between Alabama and Texas, so you assign that one a "1". Take 2-minutes to 2-hours to make your picks, depending on how much research you want to put into the picks. You pick the winner for EVERY Bowl game to be played ... it makes for great interest into the bowl season. Then you assign a 'confidence point' value from 1-32 ... the more sure you are of a pick, the higher the confidence value you assign that game. This is how we keep points and seperate the Kirk Herbstreit's from the Calfox's relatives. You can not possibly win the coveted TBB Virtual Trophy if you do not play! Last one to sign-up is a homo. ATENEARS Posted December 19, 2009 Report Share Posted December 19, 2009 The first game starts today ... you can miss the first few games and still compete, but as of now they are set as the highest confidence points, so I suggest even if you don't have time to go through all the picks, sign-up now, and set the first few games to confidence points 1, 2, or 3 ... so you don't lose all them points. I think the confidence points lock-in after a certain date (in a week or so). However, if you don't change todays games, the highest confidence points will be applied to todays games. According to the rules: In order to maximize the opportunity to accrue the most points, register and submit your entry no later than the first kickoff of the first game of the college football bowl season (Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 2:30 pm ET) at which point the game will lock for all bowl games and no additional picks can be made. I liked it much better when you could click on agame and type in the desired conficence point. Dragging games played today down near the bottom and ones played on new years up near the top and scrambling the whole schedule all over hell is stupid.
