calfoxwc
8th Pick : Noah Spence, DE Eastern Kentucky Best pass rusher in this class. Special talent. Oh, come on. At the EIGHTH PICK? I would take Yannick Ngakoue at 32 or later before I would draft Spence this high. HELL NO. 32nd Pick : Mackenzie Alexander, CB Clemson Undersized, no picks, blablabla... PFF stud, MONEYBALL. WHAT??? He's 5'10", questionable off the los. He's a nickle back. AT 32????? We have them already. nah. HELL NO. 65th Pick : Hassan Ridgeway, DT Texas 3 down D-linemen who can start right away. Not sure about this pick - chronic underachiever/out of shape... not sure if he loves the game.nah. 77th Pick : Shon Coleman, T Auburn Should be taken earlier but cancer survivor and 25 years old rookie. I don't think he has the feet to play tackle... needs a lot of coaching up, more likely a guard, maybe RT...kind of maybe. Iffy on the medical depending. 99th Pick : Tyvis Powell, S Ohio State Ball hawking safety with tremendous athletism. Very poor tackler, not aggressive in tackling, not a thumper. nah 100th Pick : Nick Martin, G Notre Dame A center. Or a guard. Great at both. GONE LIKE YESTERDAY, ALREADY PICKED 138th Pick : Demarcus Robinson, WR Florida Second round talent. Off field issues. MONEYBALL NO, RED FLAGS. HELL NO 141st Pick : Willie Henry, DT Michigan Should be taken earlier but terrific DT class. Ridgeway 2.0. If he is here, good pick - needs coached up. 172nd Pick : Terrance Smith, LB Florida State Super athletic LB who will need to be coached up to fulfill his potential. Ditto previous pick statment - good pick. 173rd : Marquez North, WR Tennessee A n°1 big receiver who didn't play enough to show it. Injuries - knee issue in 2015 - depends on medical check 176th Pick : Elandon Roberts, LB Houston A natural leader on and off the field with do it all capabilities. Smallish, terrific player as ILB in the Browns 3-4 solid pick 223rd Pick : Marshaun Coprich, RB Illinois State Do you know Thomas Rawls ? Here's his little brother. Arrested for selling drugs to an undercover officer. only 5'8, 207 Worst pick of the whole deal. Very, very bad. Very, very much HELL NO.
Tiott
Ngakoue doesn't belong in the same categorie as Spence. He would give us 10+ sacks right away and shows up against the run. As for Alexander, respecfully, ARE YOU ON DRUGS ?? Last time i check, Tyrann Mathieu was supposed to be a nickel too.
calfoxwc
oh, he's good, Spence is, but his drug history in the past catches up with him..... and he gets rich and... I wouldn't take that chance with the #8 pick. I haven't interviewed him to get a sense of his purpose and he'll stay away from his drug past... so stfu, I wouldn't draft him that high. I don't want to draft Bosa at all. Alexander is a terrific talent - he's outstanding.. However, SBNation has this stat: Only 2 of the 14 receivers picked in the first three rounds of the NFL Draft were under 6'0. Now, I distinctly remember that Buster Skrine was outstanding, too. And I remember him being helpless to stop the tall wr's on a high throw. Sure, he can jump, but so can a lot of tall wr's. There's talk of Alexander going to the Raiders up in the first round. Okay. but the Browns have a lot of major needs, and nickle back isn't one of them. I wouldn't use the 32 pick on Alexander for the BROWNS. If I'm picking for a playoff team, or the Raiders, hell yeah I could pick Alexander higher.
calfoxwc
Personally, I would draft T. J. Green cb/s out of Clemson at 32. He's 6'2", 209 lbs, and runs 4.34 in the forty. I freaking HOPE Alexander goes earlier, and nobody gets Green in the late first round. He's my pick in the second round in my mock draft which isn't finished yet, and you are welcome to pick it apart when I post it.

As we get closer to draft day I'm zeroing in on the talent that will put the Browns in the mix to be a playoff team. Just look what I've accomplished. I don't care about the ratings on this game, I'm only interested in the players and what they could do for our team. If that means I needed to reach a little to ensure that we get the talent needed to be successful so be it. I've picked us up ANOTHER first round pick for next year and the following draft as well. Three first rounders next year and two firsts and two seconds in 2018. WRs- Coleman, Core, Peake, Boehringer I replaced Gipson and Whitner with Joseph and Killebrew. D-Line- Chris Jones and Willie Henry. Scooby Wright is a football player. I got a bad grade for taking him in the fourth but that was a steal in my opinion. I took two runningbacks late in the draft that can come in and compete and push Crowell for the starting spot. Marshall could be a huge pickup, and Lasco is an amazing athlete. McGovern can be versatile on the line, I don't know if he solves the RT problem but it's worth a shot. If he can lock down the RT our line should be solid. Thomas, Bitoio, Erving, Greco, McGovern. Adams is an all around solid TE who models his game after Gronk. I think that he would go great as our #2 TE next to Barnidge. I like Scooby in the Middle backed up by K.J. and Killebrew at Safeties. That's an intriguing triangle that would make our defense very intimidating and physical. This draft plus 5 first round picks and 3 second round picks over the next two drafts puts us in prime position to be a dominant force in the NFL for years to come. Mine likely does too HOWEVER if you had given me millions at his age the ending may have been different. Luckily I turned out a ok With our track record the last few years we should remove all red flags from our board.
