We all know that the refs favor the Steelers, so it's really a non-issue.

How many passes on the sideline that had little to no chance of being completed tonight?
I lost count.

18 sacks on Watson in 3 games vs. PIT - -- actually 19 - 1.

We all will be watching there Dick Mellon ..... BTW why do you come drifting over here ? All 4 AFCN teams won do you go over there also ? Just curious.
The new forum says I'm a newbie, but I have been here for 11 years. This is the only board that I have belonged to since Cold Hard Football Facts imploded, like 10 years ago. I really like it here. This is a great group with a lot of history.

I just rolled in from a ride and elected not to watch the game, but it's good to see Watson put up more points than Jacoby has been, helping to justify the record contract and silence the haters.
Too soon?
Huh? Didn't the offense put up 3 points?
We expected rust but I saw a guy who looked older and slower with less fluidity, slower reactions, and he looked less athletic.

Thankfully, the officials are Steelers fans.

PIT's defense is tired already. Hurry up is working for CLE.
-
First time PIT offense has shown any synchronization this season.

Panthers owner is a Steelers fan too, so all that Baker has ever done is play for Steelers fans.
-
I was surprised that a majority of Steelers fans actually wanted him; not that he's bad; I like him but I never thought that he was a fit for PIT. Now that the draft is over and we got 4 QB's he is the furthest thing from our minds.
I'm really disappointed in how things played out with CLE picking up his 5th year option, then paying too much for a serial sex offender QB. Yes, Jimmy said that he wants CLE to be just like PIT but having a serial sex offender QB is not the best way to copy the Steelers. See, we didn't know that Ben was a rapist before we got him, and if we had known that, then we wouldn't have gotten him.

I think the FO so the new normal...the last 2 Superbowl winner shave ready made SB teams like the Browns then huge upgrade at Q...Boom
Steelers fan Jimmy Haslam said that he wanted to make the Browns organization like the Steelers. PIT never would have done this deal. I hope I'm wrong because I want CLE to be competitive. I hope it works out for CLE.
Here is 44 seconds of highlights for Watson vs PIT.

I hate the trade.
I'm very disappointed in giving up the picks and paying a guy who didn't want to play in CLE; paying him so much that he became willing to play where he didn't want to play.
The Steelers would never pay $100's of millions to a serial sexual predator QB, but all jokes aside, this is a terrible trade. At least Baker wanted to play for CLE. When it comes time to flush Baker down the toilet, nobody is gonna wanna pick up his $19M contract because when a starter leaves CLE he becomes a backup.
First CLE committed to the 5th year option with Baker, then decided to replace him with a guy who didn't play for a year and may be facing a suspension.
I watched HOU @ PIT and was genuinely unimpressed. Watson had zero rushing attempts and was sacked 4 times. Expect the same when it CLE - PIT.
His record against the division is terrible.

He literally just threw his rookie Tackle and QB to the wolves and never thought about running against the worst run defense in the league
Yes, and PIT had several of their starting run-stoppers out of the game, meaning they were on the injury report as, "OUT."

This might be #23's final game in Pittsburgh as a Steeler, but he will play somewhere next season. He is still a NFL starter.
-
At least CLE knows who will be the QB next year.
-
PIT, CLE, ESPN all suck.
-
Yinz got to see #23 get beat. That must be somewhat rewarding.
-
McCloud is the worst. He will be outta football. Next week is his his final game.
-
PIT doesn't need cheerleader, we have the announcers. All they need is pom poms.
-
Damn, they are sure blo jobbing Ben.
Even I don't like it.
Instead of running to pea during commercials yinz must be running to puke.
Tale of the Tape - Browns vs Steelers

I would rather see Watson, who is 0-3 against PIT.
Steelers are a bad team. They pull wins out of their ass and get help from the officials.
I expect CLE to win this one.
