Personally I would trade a 3rd or 4th and a player for Trent Williams. Then
I would trade up in the first round for Simmons if he happens to fall to
#7 or lower. Probably not going to happen but Simmons could be a
gamechanger.

Freddie didn't show for presser, they said he's "in a meeting" with Dorsey. Mr. Jimmy and Miss Dee. Maybe they are canning him.

It does seem that way......but the fact is, the Browns have 9 games to play.....and very well could be favored to win all of them (mjp has failed to show the spreads on these upcoming games...despite being asked to do so numerous times).
If he sorely fucks up these games...with the talent now on this team, then we will know that what you say is true.
Denver favored -1- over Browns early line.

Odell Beckham Jr. says hip prevents him from sprinting fullspeed, but confident the adrenalin will take over vs. Titans

BEREA, Ohio -- It’s only fitting that Odell Beckham Jr.'s custom orange Rolls Royce, ‘Big Bertha,’ was delivered to him at the Browns facility Thursday.
Because when describing the hip injury that continues to plague him, he used a car analogy.
"It’s like an extremely fast car with the alignment off,'' he said. "The car can still go, but it’s dangerous.''
Beckham, who missed most of training camp and all four preseason games largely because of the hip, noted that it’s still bothering him, but that he’s hoping the adrenalin takes over on Sunday.
"It’s something that prevents me from opening up and sprinting,'' he said in his podium press conference.
He said he’s never dealt with something like this before and that he’s getting rehab on the hip every day. But asked if 90% of him is better than 100% of someone else, he smiled and said "I’m confident in me.''
He said he plans to ‘give it my best in each and every way’ during the game Sunday and FirstEnergy Stadium “and nothing will get in the way of that.”
During joint practices with the Colts in Indiana in mid-August -- in which Beckham was idle with the hip -- he said he’d be ready for the Titans Sept. 8.
That’s still the case, but he might not be operating on all cylinders.
Sitting out team drills from about Aug. 7 to the end of training camp, Beckham doesn’t recall a specific moment when he hurt the hip.
"I don’t know how it happened,'' he said. "I came in one day after practice and it was feeling weird.''
Despite the setback, Beckham’s best friend Jarvis Landry -- who’s dealing with a minor injury of his own -- still sees a three-time Pro Bowler on every rep.
"He’s still probably the fastest in the room right now,'' Landry said. "He’s a competitor and he’ll be ready for Sunday.''
Beckham has practiced full-go all week and has not been listed on the injury report. Over the first five years of his career, he’s missed 21 regular season games, including the final four of last season with a torn quad muscle and 12 in 2017 with a broken ankle that required surgery.

Well, he probably shouldn't have done it, at least while the camera was on him. But he's a man of the people. Baker can tailgate with us anytime.
Aaron Rodgers did the same thing. No big deal here

PR nightmare. Maybe a draft pick from someone who
needs a RB after preseason or after injuries?

We finally have been able to stop the run so far after years of ineptitude against the run.
So instead of not being able to stop the run we substitute not being able to stop
a Tight End ( Not that we did a good job of that before. We will need to put up 30
to stay in games.Plus if we are in a less than one score game late in the fourth we
are in trouble.
