well we learned one thing....no one wants daboll
But without daball you can't never score?

Judgement is necessary in competition to bring out the best in others. We have two buffoons in critical positions. Baker has yet to show he has Championship brains and Fat Freddie is a classic case of Murphy's Law. Who would you want Baker or Bernie, Otto, etc.. He may grade out to be the worst of the big five chosen in the 1st round. He is already behind hopelessly Lamar, etc..

I'm not wanting him to face injury.. I just want him to flame out.. I want him to get fat , happy and resting on his laurels.... Defenses have to quit playing into his hands like the Clams did... And quit being mentally scared of him...
RG3 was a low IQ runner. He banged into people out of bounds and broke his arm, could not slide. Lamar is the Walter Payton of zig zag.

OBJ is not the problem. It is the dynamic he sets up with Baker hunting for him instead of the open man like last year.
-
The only question is what are they going to get for OBJ, a 3rd round pick and a player? And who replaces Fat Dumb Freddie? After the turnover you can't get less than a field goal attempt. Run 2 times with Hunt or Chubb. See how close you get to the 20. But Baker on 3rd and long will try to make something happen and get sacked. Bet on it.

The problem with Freddie’s clock management at the end of the first half came the drive before the final drive of the half.
You get the ball with 2:52 left in the half. Don’t come out and stop the clock on an incompletion and then run on second down leaving enough time on the clock to force yourself to run third down before the warning.
You allowed the other team to keep all their time outs and punted to them with nearly two minutes left on the clock.
Run the ball twice with either of your pro bowl caliber backs, get to the warning, hopefully pick up the first and then start your 2 minute drill. You should always try to limit your opponent‘s number of possessions, or at least make their next possession as difficult as possible. I mean it’s not fucking rocket surgery, it’s basic football strategy.
Clock management in the pros and college is so bad, you wonder if these guys understand basic logic? Stupid is as stupid does. Mike McCarthy next year because discipline needs to be there before the talent can assert itself.

I don't know about "nowhere close", but I believe Myles would have made at least a couple of splash plays that could have changed the course of this game.
Watt has a pedigree. Played in the B 10 at wisconsin. How do the Browns miss him in the draft?
-
One of the worst plays which shows Baker's lack of judgement was after the turnover or maybe later he had 5 easy yards and could have run out of bounds on his predictable scramble to the right but just heaved it out of bounds for no reason. The three or four yrds that were right there are what Wilson and Rodgers do.

Yea, that an a quarter doesn't even get you a coffee these days. Whoopity do! Duck didn't do anything when he was pressured. Oh, that is so meaningful.
Duck sat there with more time than to throw than the guy had to read books on Twilight Zone after WWIII! The D Line could not have hit him with shotguns! He was in a pond by himself.

Ok so the BROWNS playoff season is all but over -but- there is one other playoff team in Ohio.....
OHIO STATE opened up an 18 point favorite over Wisconsin now an early 16 point favorite to go to the Final Four.
GO BUCKEYES!
.......oh LSU is a 4 point favorite over Georgia.
Take the Badgers with the points and LSU. GA is way over rated like most SEC teams. The last game was 10-7 in the 3rd before the Badgers fell apart.

Out played more than out coached but both were a killer.
Can't agree. Tomlin made a few dumb calls but Freddie made a few good calls. He is in the wrong play with the wrong part. Baker wants to make the big play so takes sacks because he does not care about winning. He just wants to be a star. This team needs to reboot again. Switch to Mac and get rid of the windows machines! After the turn over passing 3 times was just dumb. This is not Aaron Rodgers. Hunt has the most juice of any of the players, the rest look like they are just playing for the next contract.
-
Freddie does not know what he is doing. Baker makes bad judgements so you have to limit him to quick throws and run more. Hunt actually has enthusiasm. When they got the turnover the 3 stupid pass plays lost the game and momentum. Zero excitement everyone is on the ground building there brands by faking injuries. What a circus. Beckham needs to go. And the pressure on the qB of the steelers was non existent he could have had a cup of coffee if he had a table. Unbelievable.

I remember when former GE CEO smilin' Jack Welsh retired with his super golden parachute which even included lifetime benefits for his wife like lifetime country club memberships and more.
Oh BTW GE stock did drop like a rock when he left.
Worth it or not? So the mega-rich get even richer and the family of four can't even afford game tickets. You decide.
Welsh is from the Greenspan-RR-Ayn Rand-Milton Friedman world view. It is never enough for me. And always noting for society or other people.

Do you listen? This guy says he doesn't coach fighting? Who does? He is the worst coach the Browns have ever had. Listening to him talk is like listening to a high school coach from Dirt poor Alabama.

not at all. He did get two uc's because he fell on the qb. That has been done forever.
They changed the rule. So, in all this latest melee, Garrett played nice and made sissy mason girlyman
land on him to avoid the penalty.
and all hell broke loose, STARTED BY SISSY MASON.
Just fact.
Funny that no one else can see these facts?

Baker was impressive in his interview. This could be a turning point for him. And the Browns if they move out the problem creators.
-
Big problem for the future for him is that expressed no remorse in his interview. Honestly seeing that guys eyes, and listening to his take on what happened, I'd trade him as soon as possible and avoid him in a bar or restaurant. He is like a pit bull, friendly but 20% have a gene that makes them deadly.

Jesus, just because Rudolf was a little out of control does not justify trying to kill him? First all this about him kick Myles Garrett in the balls is silly, a he is on the ground kicking up like get away from me. Plus Myles Garrett wears a cup. You can get with a fastball and no damage. So you throw several million away because this pisses you off? i don't get it.
-
Myles Garrett has lots of problems with impulse control. He jumps off side. Now he acts like a thug in a bar. If he let Rudolf take his helmet off and just walked away, Rudolf might have been suspended for a few games and the browns could have caught the steelers. And Myles Garrett would have looked good.
Instead the Browns are now a marked team and the refs will force discipline that fat freddy can't. The one drive the steelers had was based are 4 senseless penalties. Myles Garrett had a chance to apologize in his interview, instead he talks about his teammates having his back. Like Rudy attacked him and he was in big trouble. The guy should have just begged forgiveness and admitted he was wrong. I wonder if he will still be paid. Browns need to make a lot of moves to have a team that is coherent.

The days of Paul Brown and Otto Graham are a distant memory if that. Baker looks done, his eyes are blank. The defense has a collective IQ of about an 80 average. I have to give the Defense coordinator credit. Getting those idiots to line up onside must take all week. Can't believe the Browns passed on Watt in the draft. Ever hear of the Big 10? He is from the same school as your best player on D-Shobert. I don't know what to say. This team lacks class and discipline.

With all the bullshit calls, the clear reviews not being correct, the constant badgering of Baker. It’s finally broke the team just what the nfl wanted. It’s clear very clear there is a all out war being waged against the browns. No energy on the team now it’s not fun now just what the nfl wanted. Here comes another coaching change. Just what the nfl wanted the punching bag of the nfl it started game one right where they left off last year. Fuck the nfl, fuck Rodger.
The refs, the NFL, fate, God, Devil, Muslims, anyone but the Devas, an inept front office, a high school coach, a brand building QB, shaves 3 times before the game?, two millionaires paid too wear illegal cleats, no problem. Both should fined and benched. Paul Brown or Lombardi would not tolerate this "behavior". Let Baker go build his brand somewhere else and take the Devas with him. I just want competitive football. For years the GS Warriors stunk with a bad owner but Don Nelson could work miracles with a few NBA players and D-leagers. Always fun to watch and root for. This group you have here is not creating joy.

The other thing is this should have been caught in training camp. Kitchens is to blame for this, no doubt. Baker's never had problems with throwing to anyone before. My biggest concern is we might have picked the wrong coach. Like I said before, I hope i'm wrong.
The Tampa game was startling to me. Baker was way off, He should have played more the next game. Bad calls are part of the game, the more complaining the more you will see.
-
I question the Kitchen when it makes the same meal 2 times in a row. I wonder if Baker will ever mature? If the team is destroyed next game, it is only a matter of time. All this talent with Cam Newton and a real head coach?
-
The weirdest thing the Kitchen cooks is 2 of the same play right in a row WTF? Who does that? Baker is regressing fast and Cam is out there. Cam is only 6 years older and in his prime. I'd take a look.
Browns new Coach....

Anyway possible to get Urban Mayer? Please excuse the spelling if wrong...he has the gravitas to keep OB and Baker in line. Otherwise I don't know if the Baker ship has sailed? I'd like to see a proven winner coach this team. McCarthy I thought would be an upgrade. But gone. Pettan (again please excuse spelling) did a fine job with Hoyer but the pressure to play Johnny highball and the horrible wasting of draft picks that prior year did him in. He is respectable as the D coach at Green Bay. What is the news now from Cleveland? I just looked at a picture from an old box of photos of my dad and cousin Ed in front of Municipal stadium. My Dad claimed you got a parachute when sitting in the upper deck in left field!
