  1. Oh my god, oh no!!! Some drops and one turnover, no quarterback can possibly overcome that!!! Loser Baker apologist attitude. Eat a dick.
  2. Another Baker apologist. I'm going to shut you Baker idiots up with the dropped passes. There are 20 teams that have more dropped passes than us. So STFU. NFL Passes Dropped Rank Team Passes Dropped 1 Carolina Panthers 18 2 New York Giants 13 3 Los Angeles Chargers 13 4 Miami Dolphins 12 5 Pittsburgh Steelers 12 6 Tennessee Titans 10 7 Indianapolis Colts 10 8 Las Vegas Raiders 10 9 Atlanta Falcons 9 10 Kansas City Chiefs 9 11 Los Angeles Rams 9 12 Minnesota Vikings 9 13 Washington Football Team 9 14 Chicago Bears 8 15 New York Jets 8 16 Houston Texans 7 17 Philadelphia Eagles 7 18 San Francisco 49ers 7 19 Baltimore Ravens 7 20 Detroit Lions 6 21 Cincinnati Bengals 5 22 Cleveland Browns 5 23 Denver Broncos 5 24 Green Bay Packers 5 25 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 5 26 Jacksonville Jaguars 5 27 Buffalo Bills 4 28 New England Patriots 4 29 New Orleans Saints 4 30 Arizona Cardinals 4 31 Dallas Cowboys 2 32 Seattle Seahawks 2
  3. It's the fucking NFL. There will be a few drops here and there by receivers. It happens every game. No team has a 100% catch rate. I'm looking at it objectively: Baker sucks.
  4. Of course, it's everyone's fault except Baker. Classic Baker apologist take. It didn't take long for a Baker apologist to start throwing out the excuses. There's no excuse for a team to score 10 points with the talent we have. A real QB finds ways to get it done, he overcomes obstacles. Baker is mediocre, that's it.
  5. Another awful performance by a mediocre quarterback. I can't wait to hear the Baker apologists this week: "But his shoulder", "But, but it was a divisional game and the Steelers tried harder". Chubb, Odell, Landry, Wills, Conklin all played and Baker still stunk up the joint. It's not injuries or the offense....Baker IS the problem!!!! How you can put up 10 points with the talent around him is beyond me. We need to make a serious play for Aaron Rodgers or Deshaun Watson (if he clears his legal problems) in the offseason. We'll be lucky to make the playoffs this year with Baker, let alone be the Super Bowl contender we all hoped they would be.
  6. Nope. It's football. There will always be injuries. Every year, every team. The defense won't always play like a top 10 defense. He turned the ball over 3 times, held onto the ball way too long like he's done all his career, and continues to make rookie mistakes. My angle is Baker is not the answer, believe whatever you want.
  7. I give him a D- today. Held onto the ball too long, 3 turnovers, 5 sacks. Has a bad left shoulder - scrambles to get 1 or two yards instead of throwing the ball away and loses a fumble and dislocates his left shoulder again. He's not a top 15 QB, he's just not. We're not going anywhere with Baker. I admire his toughness, but he's a low IQ quarterback who has benefited from having two top 10 RB's. No excuses anymore for him.
  8. Don't mind Zombo, he's a piece of shit he doesn't understand football.
  9. You've gone full Retard on us. Are you saying Baker Mayfield is as good as Dan Marino or Phillip Rivers? Dan's a hall of famer and Rivers will be in the hall of fame. Baker isn't even close to those two at this point, especially Marino. I assume you're a Baker nuthugger, and no, I won't be going anywhere son.
  10. F - it was the worst performance I've seen by a winning QB that I remember in recent memory (not just the Browns but any team).
  11. We're not winning a Super Bowl with Baker Mayfield. Period. He's not an elite QB and he can't close games. He has way too many games where he looks like a bottom five QB. There's no way he can string 3-4 solid together against great teams when needed in a Super Bowl run. I love this 2021 Browns team. It's the best team we've had since the 1980's and I love them no matter what. But a Super Bowl isn't happening with Baker. Our best option is to do exactly what the Rams did this offseason. The Rams had the talent to be Super Bowl contenders this year, but realized they blew chunks at QB with Goff. They made a deal for Stafford for Goff plus two 1st round picks and a third in the offseason. The Browns need to do the same for Aaron Rodgers, assuming things don't end with a Super Bowl win for GB this year. Baker plus a couple first round picks for Rodgers. All time great QB's like Rodgers can play into their early 40's and that would give us a 3-4 year window with Rodgers for multiple shots at a Super Bowl. I don't want to settle for first or second round exits in the playoffs every year. Side note for Baker this year: I've dislocated my left shoulder 50+ times in my younger sports days. Baker most likely has a torn labrum. The only way to fix it is surgery, even then it's not guaranteed to be 100% successful and has a higher rate for reinjury. I have no doubt that it is affecting him physically and mentally (the fear it's always going to pop out, it hurts like a mf'er).
  12. Two years in a row Clowney visits us and says we're not a good fit. What happened? Best guess - Clowney found out there is no market for someone who played 8 games with zero sacks last year. Having said that, I'm happy to have him if it's a reasonable contract. I could see him being a locker room cancer with his selfishness, but this is the closest we've ever been to being contenders, so you got to take some chances.
