Yeah...I noticed how you picked out Josh Gordon to make your point but not Albert Bell who ran over kids or Jim Brown who probably been beating women for decades...

I just saw a friend I know post this hypocrisy and I know he voted for Trump.

Your points are weak...if you were that much on a pedestal you should've stopped watching the league a long time ago

You don't know what happened nor do i...all we know is that the court said Bye....didn't even arrest him..like Kareem Hunt.

I give up the picks....what has picks gotten us before?

If he wasn't a QB with numbers he would be a footnote? Isn't that every player??lol

Is this Ghoolie?   I see he's been absent a few days at another Brown's forum....

  2. Perhaps Baker could use this as a moment of maturity.    Tell Front Office and Stefanski that there are mulligans all around and he plays out his final year.   One would then hope that he "balls out" and has a great year - which would be good for him and the Browns.

  3. just a loose thought - It's been reported that Deshawn Watson had no interest in the Browns.   Zero.

    so his visit was

    1. being professional and seeing if the Brown's front office could "wow" him

    or

    2. Visiting just to stir the pot / cause a shit storm with fall out

    3. Help him in his quest to land at a more preferred location.

    I'm going with 2 or 3

Business is business.....it's never personal...lol "Late great Nino Brown"

That's a great saying, but it means that business is done by people who never, ever, ever let any "personal" issues into it.   And that is often wrong....

No because that would mean Nick Foles and Flacco are better than Marino Jim Kelly...and as explained that means Lamar Jackson is much better than Baker. You eblieve those things?

if Superbowl wins are the ultimate metric, then Eli is as good as Peyton.   Maybe better because he has two Superbowl wins and no Superbowl losses....

This summary (last updated January 2020) gives us perspective on that...

Two bright spots are Mike Vrabel in Tennessee and maybe Kliff Kingsbury who is trying to help Arizona turn a corner.

We can also add a new Belichick alum to the overall list, Joe Judge, who is currently 3-7 in his first year with the New York Giants. Technically the Giants are still in the playoff hunt with a chance to win the NFC East.

    Nick Saban

Under Belichick: Browns defensive coordinator (1991-94)

NFL head coaching stint: Miami Dolphins (2005-06)

    Career record: 15-17

Record in first season as head coach: 9-7

*Saban left Miami for Alabama, where he has won five of his six NCAA championships and has gone 152-23 in 13 seasons.

Hmm   Nick Satan went from LSU to the Dolphins to Alabama.    He also was at Michigan State

he battle of Ohio II with virtually nothing on the line. Subject to all kinds of changes no doubt.

Only thing on the line:   Browns draft position likely.

Oh...and maybe, Freddie's job?  Though...how really can this game affect his situation, win or lose?

I think if they win, Freddie has a good chance at year two.   If they lose I think he's done.

James Harrison never did anything close, ever and the steelers weren't "trying to score" as  they ran one damn play. They weren't burning timeouts. Garrett didn't need to take Rudolph to the ground and what Garrett did is the dirtiest thing I've seen in professional sports. Period.

you're wrong on every statement in this post.

  9. Rudolph and the steelers linemen in the scrum should get the exact same suspensions as Garret.  Piling on and kicking and punching Garret while he was held down?  When the two linemen had Garret, Rudolph could have walked away and didn't.

Is he worthy of such optimism?

NE used to play Mike Vrabel as an extra TE in the red zone and short yardage situations when their TE inventory was low.  Is Bill Belichick the only coach on the planet that doesn't think it's rocket science to give someone on his defense a very doable role at TE?

We don't have anyone with a TE frame on our defense that could fill this role or H-Back/FB?      It isn't like we're overworking Chad Thomas, Genard Avery, or Ricky Ticky Takitaki. Daniel Ekuale has a decent frame with the athleticism of a DE.   We could even put Drew Forbes out there as a 2nd TE and use him primarily as an extra blocker.  I'm sure he could learn a very short route or 2 in the process.  Again, the alternative is Pharaoh Brown...

Bellichek used to do that hear with James Jones lining up as an eligible receiver

  11. Having 7 divisions smacks to me of it being basically a "participation trophy" for those smaller schools. Like I said, I think 4 divisions would suffice.

But....of course....you know it is all about money. The OHSAA gets the money from the gate fees of all those games.

Sure, it then divvies it out to the schools....but it keeps a fair portion of it.

just curious - do you ever watch any games in the smaller divisions? Or is this a view from afar?

  12.

But, still 7 divisions are too many. I wouldn't mind if they went back to 3....or 4 at most.

Why is 7 divisions too many? OHSAA realized that school sizes across the board were declining and added the DIvision's 6 and 7, because of smaller and smaller schools.

And does 7 divisions take away from the other divisions? Really?

Returning to three or four divisions would be "fair" (I know, no such thing) if small rural schools had some kind of forced consolidation. Some of these Division 7 schools have class sizes of 30 to 40 kids (girls and boys) combined.

My school/my children's school might be faced with not having a team next year - When my son and his class graduates this year, there will be a whopping thirteen boys left from this years JV and Varsity programs. And the 8th grade had to be combined with the 7th grade squad this year so maybe five to eight kids that played junior high ball will play high school ball.

  13. I once watched Lenny Kravitz (very early in his career) open for Tom Petty at the now gone Richfield Coliseum. I enjoyed the show, but 95% of the crowd wanted Kravitz out of their asap so they could see Tom Petty.

I told my dad about it the next day and he remarked that crowd comments can crush an inexperienced performer. Kravitz seemed to take it in stride, and does a bit of acting, too.

I also saw Tony Carey/Planet P in the same billing as Night Ranger and 38 Special, which would seem to be more of a non fit but the crowd was pretty warm to him/them.
