kshutchins
OK, but WTF is a Sugar Cream Pie? It is the "State Desert" or something of Indiana, but it sounds sickening sweet. It's actually quite delicious. It tastes a lot like tiramisu. 1/3 cup flour 1 1/2 cups sugar 1/2 tsp salt 2 1/2 cups heavy cream 2 tsp vanilla 1 TBSP butter 1 unbaked pie shell Blend together sugar, flour and salt. Stir in cream, vanilla, and butter. Pour thoroughly beaten mixture into unbaked pie shell. Bake 10 minutes at 450 degrees and then at 325 degrees for 35 minutes. Bake until the consistency of thick pudding then chill overnight. Sprinkle with nutmeg if desired.
