DieHardBrownsFan
We, as a country have shown dominance of both games. We are the champions, my friends.

The Gipper
Well, I don't know about "dominate". We did win the most overall medals, but both the Canadians and Germans won more Gold. We lost at least 3 head to head team matchups for gold against the Canucks: both men's and women's hockey , and team speed skating. Plus I believe we were bronze to their gold in the short track relay. Oh well, good for them. It was a win/win. We win most overall medals, they win most Gold on their home soil. Pretty fair results. North America ruless (now, if we can just get those Mexicans to bone up on their biathlon skills.)
Mr. T
For me the only games that counted were hockey, even though I did watch some of the other events. The crown jewel of the winter olympics is hockey.
flipflop
finishing second and third more means world dominance lol
mopaji
I guess its easy to dominate the Olympics when your best atheletes are from 25 different ethnic backgrounds. We basically stole our atheletes. Could you imagine if we sent a real American? What I mean is, a Pennsylvanian Hillbilly that is Irish, German, and Dutch. If there isn't an event that features building the biggest beer can pyramid, we would have no chance at a medal. But since we attract the best of the best from all over the world, we will always dominate. The sport in which we have the highest level of competition is Hockey. And thats because their team is made up of American citizens that actually chose to compete for their county of origin. If they all did that, we would be hurting. What if Ohno decided to compete for his father's country of origin? That's 8 less medals right there. What is Shaun White decided to compete for hs country of origin, Ireland? With that said, We kick ass in the Olympics. And that Hockey game was excellent yesterday!

Should we only use Native Americans? Canada would be in the same boat. In fact, there ARE numerous athletes who competed in the Olympics, and some who even won medals, who were born, raised, and lived in the U.S. but who decided to play for the country of origin or their parents. I believe you should at least be a citizen of the country you compete for. But of course, many people, myself included, can hold dual citizenship. We support our athletes in america like no other country. Endoresments like crazy! And Ohno only won three medals in this olympics. This was his third winter olympics.
