kamac19
Holmgren on Bradford Well he certainly not giving much away in regards to jumping up to get Bradford, but I suppose everyone isn't really thinking that is in the minds of our front office for this draft anyways so we will see. kamac19
Yeah the Kid does have talent that is unquestioned, and with that and a good private workout for the Rams I cant honestly see them picking anyone else with the #1 pick. it would take a ridiculous trade offer from us to tempt the Rams to move and I don't think it would be worth it, you could see us moving up more if the team at #1 wasn't in desperate need of a franchise QB themselves. So I say just let Holmgren and Heckert pick there guy in round 3 study him for a year as back up or No 3, and if he does not show the signs that Coaches and Front Office were hoping for, then we can throw everything at getting the standout QB in next years Draft. ATENEARS
I like that Bradford stepped up to the task. He didn't lean on any excuses, he stepped on the field and made all the throws. In fact he made them well enough to woo the scouts on hand. That is the shit I like. Not this Tim Couch crap of needing three seperate workouts and one final one in a climate controlled atmosphere in order to receive just a passing grade. He didn't woo anyone ... then or ever. I was hoping Bradford would slid because of the injury, but it don't look like it. If you want him, you'll have to pay-up.
Erie Dawg
The pro day workouts are no more than a dog and pony show for suckers like mz the pussy and shep to get chubby over. I heard on sports center this morning that he completed 49/50 passes, well he should of completed all 50. Because It's all scripted! He takes the ball from a guy kneeling on the ground. No Center QB exchange. Has no pass rush. One receiver to throw to. No defense to read. The only thing the scouts are looking at is a little bit of footwork thats scripted. His throwing motion, thats scripted. And how tight his spiral is. Whoopee
Alendor
ya, i dunno how people can say hes incredibly talented from watching his pro day. i'm sure all the great college QBs that were busts looked fantastic in their pro days too. i'm not saying hes bad or anything, just that a pro day doesn't really say much

I heard on sports center this morning that he completed 49/50 passes, well he should of completed all 50. Because It's all scripted! First, the one incompletion was a dropped ball the fault of his receiver...so he easily could have been 50/50 Let me ask you this How many other QB's have thrown 49/50 at their pro-days?????? NONE The scouts / ESPN wouldnt be gushing if this wasnt an elite level work-out Most impressively, however, was the fact that both Jermaine Gresham (Oklahoma TE) and scouts said that Bradford was throwing with more power than before the injury. Bradford is a can't miss QB that possess a great football IQ, pinpoint accuracy, and an arm that can make all the throws. Whoever lands him will be very happy for years to come. ballpeen
Bradford is a can't miss QB So that means he has a 50% shot of being pretty darn good. I agree, I think he will be good as well.....just saying there are been more than a couple can't miss qbs who ended up missing.

If Rogers was was at NT slobbering and ready to blow the center into the backfield I'd be a little more impressed. But they tell him to throw a screen pass then a skinny post to his own receivers, like I said it's all scripted.

Yeah it's scripted to some degree but the scouts aren't looking at his 49/50 pass attempts they're looking at his throwing motion, arm strength, footwork. He did well in all areas. AUSTIN, Texas – Colt McCoy might not have the strong arm that Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford displayed earlier in the week, but that shouldn’t detract from a fine performance in front of scouts from 30 NFL teams (the Lions and Rams were the only teams not in attendance). Of the 58 passes that McCoy threw at Texas’ pro day Wednesday, none hit the ground. McCoy connected on every pass to his four receivers — Texas’ Jordan Shipley, ex-Longhorns WR Brian Carter, Bengals WR Quan Cosby and former Rams WR Nate Jones — none of whom dropped a single pass. McCoy kept all of his workout numbers from last month’s NFL Scouting Combine, and he didn’t do any individual drills. However, the consensus was that he had really good feet and moved around well while throwing the ball.
Mr. T
McCoy pussed out in the championship game, just like our boy Ginn. That makes me think he would only come for a paycheck and not to play football. lets draft a guy who wants to prove his worth and play football. Picking a QB in the first round is a hit or miss. So its 50/50 if we strike gold.
