And he's a spread offense qb.. name me successful college qbs who ran spread offenses and are also successful in the nfl. The ONLY one (and this is a HUGE reach) would be alex smith. Stay at 7!! Supposedly more than a few teams are and one of them (granted also a Rumor) is the Steelers. Either way the Stains will have to unload A LOT to get the number one pick in the draft. It's a bold move because as others have said on this very board, if Bradford doesn't pan out in this scenario the franchise is set back yet again. The Browns were in a whirlwind at that point. I'd say if you transplanted a rookie Couch in to the league right now with a Browns organization on the mend you'd have a franchise QB. This team has a strong running game and a pretty good pass blocking line. Add another receiving threat and there will be weapons to use.
