Disagreeing with Heil Obama is sedition?

I really don't think it's me who is not thinking straight.

You anger me because you waste my time on nonsense, and on stuff you should be able to glean from reading what I wrote correctly.

I'm just asking you to be a little more specific.

Otherwise I can't defend or refute anything anybody says or does.

How about this?

I'd bet there are similar actions taken by hundreds of world leaders.

BTW do you have an opinion on Chomsky drawing a comparison between the rise of the third reich and the current political climate?

He has always seemed to me to be a cut above the Olbermanns of the world.

That is, I don't think of him as a purveyor of DNC talking points.

You never did care, Heck. It's all about giving yourself props at others' expense, you hope...

and to attack everything that comes up you don't like, and never really offering up your own intiated

threads.

Lefties always want to be the attacker. I'll bet that really sucks.

Well fine Heck.

I'll be as honest as I can.

That's about as much Beck as I've seen and not dissimilar to anything else he's done AFAIK.

To tell you the truth I didn't find it all that outrageous.

I didn't hear any call to arms.

I didn't hear any seditious language.

I did hear an over the top rant about three directions taken in the world.

The US the Germans and the Russkies.

And the power of the individual as opposed to the power of the state.

And you should really see the link between Hitler and Stalin.

They're BOTH fascists and BOTH came to power under the banner of "social justice" during tough economic times.

And to compare the US favorably to those two is hardly an outrage.

So I guess you can rightly say it's over the top. Or a little silly. Or pretty damned evident.

But anyone who says he can't figure out the meaning is, well, an idiot.

If we had any honest observers here I'd expect they'd see more to be pissed off about in the words of your little buddy from the Kos in the opening minute.

He in so many words accused the other side of "exterminationist and eliminationist rhetoric and calls to violence."

C'mon Heck. Nobody I know of says that.

That's like claiming Obama wants to put Republicans in consentration camps.

But if that clip is the kind of thing that gets you excited, Heck, you can relax.

(And from the guy who has a Drudge fit nearly every day we get........wait for it........ NEWSER!!!!!!!!!!)

Actually, Heck, you and your friends are laughing out of nervousness, maybe.

I mean, even Beck knows he's silly, but his point is understandable, and his analogy fits a good bit well.

As I see it, Beck is right, the different "roads traveled", led to different places...

but the changes in direction seem to bring the different parties to a same conclusion.

The constant laughing at something... seems to be far more a psychological defense mechanism

more than anything else.

IOW's, Heck, I think history and current events match Beck's outlook on the world, and doesn't

fit yours.

That should keep you awake at night, eh?

Yeah, just a little over the top. But hey, he's making some great points, right? Holy cow.

Um, no he isn't. He's completely misreading everything, then topping it with his paranoia sprinkles.

As for what Kos said, that's the other funny part - Beck completely misunderstands what he said, then goes off on his screed based on his misunderstanding. Oddly enough, that also happens in here just about every day. Hmm.

He wasn't calling Tea Baggers Nazis. He was saying the exact opposite - that the Tea Baggers accuse Obama of having Nazi-style plans and ambitions, or having "already done lots of the things Hitler did." That's the "exterminationist rhetoric" he's referring to. But that's okay. Not understanding English and taking things out of context is how you run down these rabbit holes. You know, like with "death panels" and "microchip implantation."

As for your hysterical gotcha about Newser ...the difference would be that I don't get my news from Newser. I got that video from Newser.

In the end, this guy is more responsible for the tea bag movement than anyone else in America. And he's an unhinged moron who knows nothing about history other than what he read in Jonah Goldberg's shitty book. You have to be an idiot to listen to this guy and think he's making valid points.

And yet millions do. Including both of you.

Let's move on.

Here's a bigger part of the actual quote. " “They’re against democratic government, they’re anti-democratic… basically with just respect for democracy in this nation, I mean this is what the people voted for, and it’s one thing to oppose it on policy, it’s another thing to use the kind of exterminationist, eliminationist rhetoric that they’re using in appealing to violence and uh, and uh, that sort of thing.”

Actually Heck since I do understand the language I'm not fooled by your spin.

I realize it's a big hit with your base.

As for your hysterical gotcha about Newser ...the difference would be that I don't get my news from Newser. I got that video from Newser.

No. You get that from Jon Stewart.

Yikes!!! He MUST be stopped!!!! :o

And yet millions do. Including both of you.

So from the clip YOU posted what frightens you so?

Saying America is superior to Hitler and Stalins regimes?

Pointing out that Hitler and Stalin both came to power through socialist ideas?

Let's move on.

That's fine with me.

But honestly if you're really as fearful of this guy as your last litany of posts suggests, you're crazier than anyone standing on a streetcorner screaming that Obama wants to put microchips in your brain.

Seriously.

And what proof does Moulitsas have that Obama opponents are inciting violence? Sure, there have been a few isolated incidents but almost all political violence committed during the Obama era has been perpetrated by people on the left.

As Mithridate Ombud helpfully pointed out on NewsBusters:

It was not the fear of conservative violence that caused Ann Coulter’s speech to be cancelled this week.

It was a liberal who bit the finger off a man who disagreed with him on healthcare.

It was Obama-loving Amy Bishop who took a gun to work and murdered co-workers.

Joseph Stack flew his plane into the IRS building after writing an anti-conservative manifesto.

It was liberals who destroyed AM radio towers outside of Seattle.

It’s liberals who burn down Hummer dealerships.

It was progressive SEIU union thugs who beat a black conservative man who spoke his mind.

It’s doubtful that a conservative fired shots into a GOP campaign headquarters.

In fact, Democrats have no monopoly on having their offices vandalized.

Don’t forget it was Obama’s friend Bill Ayers who used terrorism as a tool for political change. SDS is still radical, with arrests in 2007 and the storming of the CATO Institute in July 2008.

It was a liberal who was sentenced to two years for bringing bombs and riot shields to the Republican National Convention in 2008.

It was a liberal who threatened to kill a government informant who infiltrated her Austin-based group that planned to bomb the RNC.

It was liberals who assaulted police in Berkeley.

It was liberals who intimidated and threw rocks through the windows of researchers.

The two Black Panthers who stood outside polls intimidating people with nightsticks were probably not right-wingers.

Every time the G20 gets together, it’s not conservatives who destroy property and cause chaos.
