THE BROWNS BOARD

End it now.

The Browns should fire Romeo tomorrow. I can't think of one reason to wait until the end of the season. The Browns had no chance to win this game today... that was a given going in. Still, Romeo's decision making is nothing short of a joke. He proved today..... beyond any doubt he is not a head coach.

I agree the fat pos should have been fired at the bye week but todays coaching blunders go to show the kind of instability and stupidity this 4 year piece of crap and his lousy staff bring to the browns organization fire them all!

Why bother? Wait until the end of the season, then fire them. Until then who gives a shit anyway? We won't win with anyone in there now. Higher draft picks only salvation I can see. Lerner has to get rid of RAC and Savage the day after the last game. He is a business man and he can see that this is NO GOOD FOR BUSINESS.

I don't care if we can Romeo now or later, just so long as we see Lewis and Edwards asses hit the pine.

I want to see Harison, Rucker and Bell out there.

May as well right? The season is already a wash.

How about Hall and Orr. Mcginest and Davis played like shit. How can you continue to play McGinest on 90% of the plays and sit Hall and Orr. Davis has to be the most pathetic ILB playing on Sunday. Jackson is running all over the field and Davis is standing there getting in his way. He spent most of the day doing the waltz with a offensive lineman.

Play the young guys and see if they fit for next year. If Lerner ever made a decision he should tell RAC he is gone after the season and play the young guys.

The hilarious (but sad) thing was how Dan Fouts actually said that "someone must be asleep on the sideline" in the midst of one of yet another of Crennelephant's gameday gaffes.

Can someone point out those coaching screw ups? I missed watching it and was trying to follow along on NFL.com.

Same old same old. Clock mismanagement yet again, poor play-calling, etc, etc....but the play on which Fouts commented was a pass in the 2nd half (and before the game was out of reach) that would have went for about 50 yards that was called out of bounds. Looking at the replay, it looked like a completion, but there was no indication from Crennelephant that he was even considering challenging it. Asleep at the wheel once again, and so obviously so that a network commentator called him out on it.

I don't think very highly of Crennelephant to begin with, but I really think it's gone past the point of just incompetence and gotten to the point where he just doesn't give a shit anymore.

Bell was listed as questionable on the injury report this week with a knee issue. My guess is that the knee he first injured at the Senior Bowl practices, then again at training camp, is still bothering him.

Yeah he is just a pussy and wouldn't go for it on 4th down when we were losing 21-9 with 8 mins left or whatever.

On the ensuing punt they returned it to the line of scrimmage we punted from anyway.

That's what you get, Arby Kreme

Bingo. There's the reason NOT TO WAIT to fire him. He's not playing the young guys. He's sticking with upper-30's McGinest, etc.

He's not thinking forward to next year. He's just playing the guys he knows.

We should be:

-Seeing if Beau Bell (if healthy) has the speed and football sense to play LB in the NFL

-Seeing if Alex Hall can really be a sack machine

-Seeing if Harrison can be an every down, or at least a 50/50, type of back

-Seeing if Rucker has any chance of replacing Winslow

-Seeing if Orr is in, or a wast of time

The season is over. Get a guy in there who will at least give these guys some playing time so the next HC can assess the talent.

i agree that we need to see the young guys and that, if romeo won't , we need to replace him with someone who will.

the only problem is that i don't think we have anyone in the organization who's ready to step up and be the coach that we don't want to lose to another team when we have to fire him at the end of the season.

chud's schemes are solid. though his playcalling isn't, there aren't a ton of guys who can draw up quality offenses. as long as we have one, we should hold onto him, and promoting him to HC for three games and then firing him won't guarantee that we can do that.

I think they said Harrison left the game with a serious rib or shoulder injury, that's why we barely saw him. I never once saw Rucker in the game.

That doesn't explain why we didn't see him until what, the 2nd half? That's just pathetic.

I'm not saying Cribbs would have lit it up if he was used more in yesterdays game, but to point out yet another frustrating aspect of this current "lame duck" regime....

Fouts said during the game that Cribbs received 45% of the snaps in practice this week.

soooooooo... if you commit that much time to the guy, which also means that's less valuable preparation dorsey received, why the H did he only play about 7 plays? I know the answer, don't bother.

Shall we start an e-mail campaign to the front office and tell them what players we want to see for the last 3 games?
