Catholic church opposed removal of statute of limitations from child sex crimes

Recommended Posts

I guess because it opens the church up to lawsuits for crimes that happened 10, 20, even 30 years ago. The limitation used to be 3 years.

did they oppose it because Christians are supposed to forgive? (god forgave humans of their sins, so we are supposed to forgive those who trespass against us) or did they oppose it to save money?

God damn, I really hate that child rapist protecting organization. Seriously, the Vatican's got its head stuck so far up its ass they don't realize how out of touch with the world they are. I guess it's good that many Catholics are starting to see the pope as less of a rock star and more of a senile old bastard whose thoughts bear no importance in every day life.
