chrisP_chicken
With Wrights contract up at the end of this season, (not sure if he becomes a RFA or not) should we be looking at resigning him at some point during this season? And what type of money are we looking at paying him? I understand we should be talking about the upcoming season, but it never hurts to start thinking ahead
MudratDetector
i want him resigned. i love eric wright. his INT return for a TD against the giants a couple of years back was the highlight of the browns 2008 season.
CLEVELANDwantsPLAYOFFS
Wright seems to be the ego of the team at camp though, or atleast it seems that he is the last one getting up and he doesn't associate with teammates too much.. Either way we need sign him

Either way we need sign him well then do we only sign him to a 2 year contract while we see how haden and mcdonald mature or do we try and lock the guy in till he's 30? CLEVELANDwantsPLAYOFFS
Personally I love the way he plays so I think we need a big deal on him, I just don't like how he acts.

McDonald? He's terrible. I wouldn't resign him at all. Let alone if he makes the team this year.

NewEraDawg
I think teams in general will be careful with long term deals till they get an idea where the CBA is going .

chrisP_chicken
ive got nothing against mcdonald. he may be a ways away from being a starter, but he's solid as a dime or nickle corner
cambridgeho
Depending on how this year goes, Wright will be having a pretty big asking price when he becomes a FA, hopefully we can afford him along with Roth and Jackson and Vickers and who ever else will be there.
