WPB Dawg Fan
Not sure what this means other than they are not expecting Harrison to practice this week...but the Browns have signed Allen Patrick (Adrian Peterson's backup/replacement at Oklahoma). He is 6'1" and 200 lbs. He did well when inserted into the Oklahoma offense, with 769 yds on 169 carries in 2006....then 1009 yds on 173 carries in 2007. Although he is smallish, he is a downhill runner with a what has been termed a VIOLENT running style. Should be interesting to see if he gets in the game. JewDago
he won't play. JL will get 23 carries for 43 yards and there might be a fullback handoff or two, but that's the plan for the running game against the always-stout eagles D. Guest Aloysius
Although he is smallish, he is a downhill runner with a what has been termed a VIOLENT running style. Should be interesting to see if he gets in the game. From what I remember, he was an impatient runner at Oklahoma & didn't have good vision. And it's not necessarily a good thing to be a violent runner when you're 6'1", 200 lbs. He probably isn't more than a special teams guy. But I'd love to be proven wrong. Gips
to hell with the browns this year!!! go 2009 browns with bill cowher as their head coach baby! Do you really think lerner can land cowher or marty? These guys like having quality people around them not idiots that someone else chooses and that in itself almost eliminates cleveland as an option for either of these guys...lerner has the money but not much in the form of a talanted front office thats going to eliminate a lot of quality choices and leave us were we have been for 10 frickin years.. Lerner needs to clean house upstairs and down..
