roach
i took a ride to Alliance today to watch our Mount Union Purple Raiders face Wheaton in the Div III semis. MU won 45-24, and as a bonus, i got to witness history. Coming into the game, Nate Kmic needed 286 yards to become the country's all time college leading rusher. He broke the record in the 4th quarter on a TD scamper that happened right in front of us. What a great moment. Congrats to Nate and all the Purple Raiders. Good luck in the Championship game next Saturday against Wisconsin Whitewater as they go for their 10th national title under Coach Kehres.
2yy4u
I've seen this kid play several times...he's not overwhelming in any sense-not over powering, doesn't have blazing speed, not even cut up or anything. But, he is a tremendous football player and has outstanding vision. I don't see him making the leap to the next level the way his counterpart at WR (Pierre) did last season, but it is nice that he will be able to take away this memory and possibly another great one next week after winning another title! Riffer X
Hey, great thread Roach. I was going to start one myself. What a cool ass thing for this kid to own the NCAA's all time college rushing record. This means he has more yards than any back to ever play any college football, and that's a tremendous accomplishment. Go Purple Raiders
