shepwrite
Great to hear that he's progressing very well. http://www.news-herald.com/articles/2010/1...s/nh3302996.txt
ballpeen
No doubt it gets even better if he comes back strong, though at this point Hillis demands 20 or so carries a game.
ClevelandFanForLife
what i'm hoping for next season with hillis and hardesty is something that pittsburgh did a few years ago with duece staley and jerome bettis. staley plays the first half and wears the defense down and bettis comes in after half time and beats up on an already tired defense. it would be a great 1-2 combo. USFBrown
I don't know. I'm really worried that this kid will get injured again next season. It's just a gut feeling and the fact that he's injury prone. I do hope it works out, two big bruisers would be nice.
alporcini
Montario will work out, I'm hoping at least... Like you said USF injury is everything.... Im moving to Tampa next summer which area is nice for living? I was just in St. Pete/Treasure Island area I kinda liked it there. Check out Lee Roy Selmon's sports bar in Tampa and St. Pete... enough screens to give you whiplash... and some of the most awesome BBQ around... hate to pimp out the opposition, but I was in Tampa for opening weekend, went over and stayed at Selmon's all day/all night on Sat... one of the best sports bars I've ever been to! Stay away from the Brandon Area, I think more people live there than the whole state of Ohio, its Retarded over there...New Tampa, Wesley Chapel is nice. Tampa near the USF campus is not a good area.....
Richiswhere
While I hope for Montario sake he makes it back. With the injuries in college and now twice with the Browns I don't think you can really count on him for very much. Let be honest here Hillis is our #1 back but with his style of running I really think we need a real good #2 back.

shepwrite
It was the opposite leg from four years earlier... and he carried the ball a bajillion times senior year... so his bad luck has to run out some time. I look for him to have a good year in a supporting role in 2011.
USFBrown
A friend of mine told me to move to Brandon haha, way over crowded? Yeah, STAY WAY OUT OF BRANDON!!! It's terrible over crowded, but there are a lot of things to do. I lived in Valrico, which is outside of Brandon, as a kid and it was nice but it's getting croweded too. New Tampa is very nice, like was said. I lived around there when I went to school. St Pete, Clearwater are beachy places, along with Davis Island (super nice). My brother lives in Apollo Beach, it's very laid back, quiet, but a lot of older people and not too much to do. They are expanding though. I live in Orlando now, I like it better than Tampa, but it's just personal preference.
Gips
Everyone thought TJ Ward would suffer more problems and he has been solid, for now we have to give heckert the benefit of the doubt and hope that the hardesty gamble pays off and the kid has a long productive and loyal career in cleveland similar to that of therman thomas, i think hardesty comes out next year and contributes big, possibly really ramping up our running game from the friendly competition between hillis and hardesty for carries and glory.. Hardesty hasn't been injury free since high school, if then. Wasted draft pick. And dumping Harrison was super stupid. Did you see what he did in ONE carry in the Eagles game this week? He took it to the house. Hardesty will never be healthy enough to do anything in the NFL, and I knew that BEFORE CLE drafted him.

Hardesty will never be healthy enough to do anything in the NFL, and I knew that BEFORE CLE drafted him. I did see what Harrison did in ONE carry. That's always been his problem. He'd have ONE good carry, and then the rest were not so good. There's no consistency with him. With that said, he had a great game against a weary Redskins defense that was on the field for nearly 40 minutes.

Dumping on Hardesty while pimping out a scat back that can't pass block for breaking a long run against a defeated defense. Good logic here. Those were the same thoughts people had about "all day", and see how well he worked out. Hardesty may be a bust after all but considering the fact that he was a second rounder and the fact that we now have more draft hits than busts this draft - we can brush this one aside. Trading Harrison so not stupid. Harrison did not fit the scheme, so he had to be traded. we cant make 11 players change just so that one guy is comfortable. medicineman
I just hope Hillis and Hardesty can get along next year if both are demanding 20 plus carries a game.
Earl34
I just hope Hillis and Hardesty can get along next year if both are demanding 20 plus carries a game. Hillis spent his college career behind Darren McFadden and Felix Jones. I doubt he can't be a team player. He's not an ego guy.

Im moving to Tampa next summer which area is nice for living? I was just in St. Pete/Treasure Island area I kinda liked it there. I don't live there, but know the area well. I have a brother living in the area and i have a home in Venice, about 60 miles south. I guess it depends. If you are working, live on the side of the bay you work.....driving the bridges can be a pain. A morning or evening wreck can really slow things up, and there aren't any easy detours. If you are looking at Treasure Island....I would go more towards Indian Rocks or Seminole....Reddington Beach is pretty nice as well.
Canton Mike
I tend to be pretty optimistic, so let's just "say" that Hardesty had absolutely top notch medical care this time & will come out healthy. As fine a receiver as Hillis is, why can't they both have a suitable number of "touches", while sometimes being on the field together. I think that combo could be devastating. As always....We'll see.
