Why does Rich Gannon always commentate our games?

I think he is one of the most horrible commentators/analysts in all of sports btw, maybe that's why he was assigned to a lower-tier team such as the Browns.

Which brings me to my question, are two commentators assigned to follow one team around and travel with them and commentate on their games, because I notice that one or two commentators have done the Browns the whole season, and we dont get to hear a lot of Gus Johnson, which is in my opinion the best there is.

Why is Rich Gannon always doing our games?
