John, Rif, Mark and Larry: Just give me one thread to punch Steeler fans in the head.

You can keep their grimey pennsyltucky paws from disrupting our remaining threads, but allow them in here.

I want to remind them that their city is rancid, their women are toothless and their deer stands are filled with idiots.

I want to remind them that they were the first team to start a gay Quarterback.

I want to remind them that the only big game they haven't choked on since the seventies was when the Refs HANDED them the SB against Seattle.

I want to remind them that ball actually has to pass the goal line to score a TD, and Baltiwhore should be sewing up the division this week.

I want to remind them that 8 League Championship is STILL more than 5 League Championships.

I want to remind them that regardless of how many times they have beaten these rudderless expansion Browns, we kicked their ass Old School, and NO amount of wins ever matches Joe Turkey Jones drilling Bradshaw's pea-brain into the turf, the single greatest moment in NFL History.

So let the urine-soaked camoflauge-colored mama's boys post in this thread. Cause someone needs to remind them ... Steelers Suck.

Zombo

All this loss to the Titans did was make sure that Tennessee as the 1 seed gets a much tougher game in the playoffs in the divisional round when they play either the Colts as the 5 seed or the Ravens as the 6 seed seeing that the lower seeded teams in the AFC are better this season then the 3 and 4 seeded division winners. They dont give out Lombardi Trophy's or awards for winning the number 1 seed and clinching homefield advantage somebody should remind the Titans of that. The Steelers will go back there and kick the Titans ass on January 18th if they should get a rematch with them or I should say if the Titans are lucky enough to win their first playoff game and avoid being one and done much like I think they will end up being.

As I pointed out in another thread if you want to come on here and blast the Steelers and compare the success of the Browns to the Steelers let's look at the success the Steelers have had over the last 17 years or so. The Steelers team has made the playoffs 12 out of the last 17 seasons since 1992, has played in 6 AFC Championship Games in that span, has won 10 division titles as well, has won 12 playoff games total since 1992, and has played in 2 Super Bowls in that time, and also won a Super Bowl in that period of time to top it all off. Name me a franchise over the last 15-17 years that has had that kind of success year in and year out and that has only missed the playoffs 5 times out of 17 seasons. It will be hard to find 2-3 teams that have been this good because guess what there aren't any. Guess if I was a Browns fans and saw those stats compared to the stats their team has had over the last 17 years or so I would probably be jealous and obsessed with the Steelers as well.

As far as the Steelers choking in big games over the last decade or so you actually have to make it to big games and play in them first to have a chance to choke. Something the Browns havent done since the last 80's and what happened to those teams?? Oh year 1986 Elway and the drive, 1987 Ernest Byner and the fumble, 1989 ass kicking once again in the AFC Championship by the Denver Broncos. How about the last 2 times the Browns have made the playoffs in 1994 and 2002 who was the team that knocked their poop stain asses out?? Oh yea it was the Steelers. So dont sit here and talk about the Steelers team and franchise chocking and not winning big games when the Browns havent even won a playoff game in 14 years.

I find it funny how these mongloids completely miss the irony in calling us obsessed with their team when they are the ones on our message board.

Hilarious.

Its hilarious that there are 5 threads started by Browns fans concerning the Steelers over the last few days that's even more hilarious. Once again proving that Browns fans are whiners and have a losing look for excuses mentality much like their football team does.

Yeah LOL, meanwhile you guys are talking to each other like butt buddies on a Browns board.

"Let's see, our Steeler boards suck, we'll start a thread on Willie Parker on the coooooolness that is the Browns and their fans best board."

Gee Einstein you don't think it has anything to do with the fact that uhhh we play the steelers this week?!?

Even in shitty seasons we still represent, even if our shitty shitty team doesn't.

No shit dude, but much like the way this thread was started in relation to the Titans game most of the threads have nothing to do with the Steelers and Browns game this week. Zombo starts a thread that states just because the Steelers lost a game to the Titans that had the 1 seed and homefield advantage on the line means the Steelers are chokers and have no chance in the playoffs. Newsflash Zombo they dont give you the Lombardi Trophy or the Lamar Hunt Trophy or any kind of reward for clinching the number 1 seed and homefield. In another 3 weeks or so when the Steelers are playing in the AFC Championship game something the Browns havent played in 19 years since 1989, and the Titans are sitting at home and are one and done after losing to either Indy or the Ravens in the divisional round, that game that occured in Nashville last Sunday wont mean squat shit.

1. Yeah the URBAN city of Pittsburgh is filled with rednecks. You make no sense.

Last I looked, Charleston WV and Ashland, KY were considered "urban", doesn't mean they aren't full of rednecks. Common denominator here is that all three places are full of toothless Appalachian hillbillies, just because Pittsburgh has the highest concentration doesn't make it any less redneck. It just makes it redneck Mecca.

2. You Browns fans seem to have a lovefest wtih our QB. I am starting to think your gay.

I'm starting to think if one of you hicks could use grammar correctly, you wouldn't look like such rednecks.

3. I guess beating the #1 ranked Colts in their stadium when all the calls are going against you is choking.

Are you talking about the game where Big Gay Ben fell down and tripped the guy whose wife stabbed him in the knee the night before? Yeah, that wasn't fortuitous at all.

4. I guess what was described as "NASA like technology" showing the ball over the line isn't enough for you. What more do you want?

Actual NASA technology. "NASA-like" is right up there with "fake-Rolex" and "cheese-food". Then again, Pittsburgh is the Velveeta of the major league cities.

5. Super Bowl > League Championship.

My high school football team has two LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS and an undeafted season but since they didn't occur in the NFL I doubt you and everybody else actually care about them.

Hey, guess what ... ours actually did occur in the NFL and are actually recognized by the NFL. When you are the last team standing ... you are the last team standing. Again, I invite any of you tell Jim Brown his NFL Championship didn't count ... to his face.

6. Talk about living in the past......

It's all relevant. Does the Pirate's 1960 World Series count less than their 1979 World Series because there were fewer teams and fewer playoffs? No they beat everyone they needed to beat. Champions. So mull that over while you and your mom share a bag of pork rinds in bed tonight, Cletus.

No, it's just another December loss for the Steelers, followed by another loss this week, followed by another one-and-done in the playoffs.

Seems to be the Tomlin way: Lots of towel-waving in October, lots of losing in December.

Oh here we go, you are going to get all faggy with the name-changing stuff, and if I don't offer to change mine then I'm not "man enough" or something.

Dude, you are the one who douched-up and said you were going to change your name all un-provoked. If you don't want to, or if you feel you need somethng in return .... then don't do it.

I'm guaranteeing the Browns will win. And I'll be right here Sunday night to back it up. So don't go all Chachi on us.

The Browns will win. I said it. I believe it. I'm on the record. I will back it up.

I think a Browns win is a possibility this week. Its a classic TRAP GAME. There is Really Nothing to play for for the Steelers. Say rivalry all we want 10 strait wins and 19 of 22 ... I really dont see our guys getting a jacked up to go Bang heads for 60 minutes with a Real Game looming in 2 weeks. A Browns win means nothing this week. A steeler win means less. Why even play ... which is what i think some of our players may just end up reflecting.

58-55 Steelers Record vs the Cleveland Browns ! Another Interesting fact. So don't get all "High and Mighty" on us by looking back into the OLD Testament of NFL statistics.

Also not certain where you got those facts my research finds this :

REGULAR-SEASON POST-SEASON OVER-ALL

Pittsburgh Steelers 513 498 21 .507 28 20 .583 541 518 21 .511

Cleveland Browns (NFL) 424 360 10 .540 11 20 .355 435 380 10 .533

I STAND CORRECTED !! And it wasn't wikipedia.... But apparently just as accurate !

Browns Record since Merger 245 W 292 L 3 T .458% FYI.

I understand homerism is a part of being a fan, however talking about getting rings before the playoffs begin or even before the season is over is stupidly presumptious.

That's why you inbred hicks rank as the least knowledgable fans of the game.

Your screen name screams to your ignorance as to the position Browns fans had even before the season began.

Go and study the NFL, actually look at teams beside the steelers, and just study football in general, then come back and try and talk football with the big boys Mmmkay?

Run along now sport....

Steelers are already locked into the #2 seed. We haven't had a defense this good in a while. We have a legit shot at ring six. How am I " the least knowledgable fans of the game" for believing Steelers have a legit shot at another ring this year.

Big Boys....... Are they the poeple who watch the game from the sideline everytime it is playoff time?

They are complete opposites, yet you just said that we are an urban city that is a redneck mecca. I only know one person from Pittsburgh with messed up teeth and he was one of the best and most fear linebackers of all time...

3. No, I am talking about the game the Steeler D shut down one of the top offenses of all time led by the league MVP in their own stadium. That same game Ben shredded the Colts D with precision passes everyone expected from Manning.

4. Being described as "NASA-like" is better then being described as "Browns-like". I am happy to know you aren't desputing that it did prove the ball crossed the plane.

5. the NFl and AFL were completely different leagues prior to the merger.

6. I never said it was "irrelavent" I don't know why you tried to make it appear as if I ever said that. I was calling you out for continually living decades in the past. Of course, there isn't a reason for a Browns fan life live in current time, or even the past 3 decades.

--No one cares if you change your "name". We have your quote, you have mine. Rack'em, Chachi.

Believe me when the Browns do get pounded tomorrow I will remind you of what you have been saying here for the last 4-5 days, and I will keep posting threads on here about it to the point where they will probably have to delete this thread or block me off this site. Man I cant wait to see what you have to say tomorrow when this whole thing is over...

Yeah, what team wants homefield throughout the playoffs? You guys really showed them.

A Browns fan saying the words homefield throughout the playoffs is like an insult to the whole concept of having homefield, since the Browns havent the slighest clue what having homefield advantage means. See their 1-7 record at home this year for proof. With the only win being against the Giants who took the Browns for granted that night that is the only logical explanation there had to be for the Giants losing that game. And if the two teams meet again ten more times in Cleveland Browns Stadium I would venture to say the Giants would probably win all 10.

And that should really be the last argument on THAT topic...

You should have probably taken a trip to Pittsburgh in the last 20 years before rambling on about it. Again, I am not from there and visited there for the first time a year ago and then again last year. I couldn't get over how beautiful it really was. The city has a great skyline split into three by the river.

And BTW...

The NFL you are referring to, is now known as the NFC. Modern day football is judged POST-merger, since the merger expanded the league quite a bit. Heck, we have won 6 AFC championship games too. . . on top of the 5 games between the two leagues.

There simply is no comparison between the SB and the "league championships" before the merger. That is not take anything away from those teams, from what I have heard and seen, they were great teams. Its just apples and oranges.

I STILL remember this alleged LONG ride Jax was supposed to have out of Pittsburgh in January 2008. They threw 2 forward passes to the petrified Northcutt before deciding they didn't need to throw the ball at all. They just ran the ball down Pitt's esophagii (that's plural without an s for all the Trailer Park Shakespeares in the house this week).

If it plays out like it should, Ben will be pretending his shoulder bothers him after a few INTs. He did that really vrs Tennessee. Right on cue I'd say watch him show everyone the fictional shoulder pain and there it was. Has the new Head Coach won a playoff game yet? Stay fricken tuned... I love a good laugh.
