hillis4mayor1
Without Peyton Hillis Mangini and Dabol would have been fired half way through the season! It is obvious the only play the coaching staff knows how to call his, hand off to hillis left, hand off to hillis right. Well when teams start putting 9 defenders in the Box to stop hillis, they may want to call a pass play. I am pretty sure that the Browns may not have won a game this season if it wasn't for Hillis because the coaching staff does not know how to utilize are offensive weapons. What has happened to Josh Cribbs this season? Also when its 3 and 7 a 2 yard out to Chansi Stuckey is not going to work. Watching the game it is predictable when they are going to throw him the ball, you can actually call it before the ball is even snapped. Obviously we all want the Browns to win and the only way that is going to happen is if Mangini and Dabol are gone. Time for Gruden Baby!
WRREBEL
finally some one who has a clue. But becareful, cause the mangini clones will come out in full force. I think half of the members on here are related to him!

We stopped running Hillis for some inexplicable reason in the game yesterday, and we ended up losing because our offense stalled. Everytime they handed the ball to Hillis (when he wasn't fumbling) we were driving down the field. 9 men in the box or not. The problem was Dabol's playcalling (the first game in a while where this was very obvious). Mangini will not be fired.

I didn't know having a losing record and making bad decision warrants bringing him back at head coach. And yes I feel anyone could call better plays then Dabol. Plus Holmgren's going to want to bring in his own head coach!
BeernBrowns
Mangini will have atleast one more year in Cleveland. If he shits the bed next season then hes toast, but untill then he is staying.

Dawgstucknpa
Mangini cannot and should not be fired!!! Yes he is ULTIMATELY responsible for the entire team, but the playcalling is the main issue here. Holmgren certainly can barely stand to watch this mess we are forced to call offensive playcalling. It is certainly "offensive" Daboll has to go... We need a O-Coordinator that MAXIMIZES the talent we have at WR.... Colt has to be healthy.... We need a true #1 WR.... We need a DE.... We need a FAST OL.... We need OL depth.... We need Hardesty to be healthy.... Oh....and Ryan needs to stay....

Speedyd900rr
And I'm beginning to think you're related to Gruden. The season's not over yet. Well, last year it was the Quinn- Anderson debate, this season it's Mangini's good\bad. I posted this on another topic but here it is, straight from wikipedia. In the two years following Gruden's Super Bowl win, the Bucs went 7–9 and 5–11 respectively, implying to many Dungy supporters that Gruden had simply taken over a strong team and then driven it into the ground. In 2006, Gruden led the Buccaneers to a 4–12 season. It was his worst record as a head coach and the first time a Tampa Bay team had not won more than four games since 1991 As you can see he actually got worse and worse as each season went on. Mangini is actually winning more and more each season but he still thinks Gruden is better.
USFBrown
These Gruden guys are jackasses... Let me try to get into their mindset: Let's fire the coach who with no real star power has made a competitive team. Let's fire the coach who has nearly rebuilt our who team and has found some good players from practice squads and such. Let's fire the coach who brought us from a steaming pile of crap to a team that has had a chance to win every game with a terribly difficult schedule. Let's bring in a guy who won a super bowl with Brad Johnson. Let's bring in a guy who went to the playoffs with Rich Gannon. Let's bring in a guy who won a super bowl with someone else's team. Let's bring in a guy who can't develop talent. Let's rebuild every 2-3 years because change is a good thing, just ask Obama. Damn! I see why we need a new coach and it must be Jon Gruden or i'm not going to be a Browns fan anymore, wah... wah...
Mark O
They didn't do to bad last year. You know, when Rex didn't have to do shyt execpt watch the team that Mangini built make the playoffs. Now that Rex got his hands on that roster... well, what you said lol. They weren't that good last year either....they backed into the playoffs because the Colts and Bengals laid down for them the last 2 weeks. They were 7-7 and then won two games that were given to them. The defense and running game played well against a soft Bengals team and a Charger team that always chokes in the playoffs unless their playing Indy. They are the worst 9-4 team probably in NFL history.
