WRREBEL
As much as I strutt and talk smack. No one should be fired with one game left in the season especially a hall of famer like singletary. Way to show some class york family. Thanks to the yorks, randy lerner is looking pretty good. http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?w=1a7cy&...P&topslot=

Gips
To bad we dont have a fast acting front office, holmy is to busy worrying about being fair and just with mangini while the fans take it in the ass.. Mangini is a proven bum with a 5 year record and hundreds of thousands of hater fans between 2 teams to prove it... Holmy did the right thing giving manweeni a second chance but frankly it should have ended at the bye week as its obvious the guy is a middle of the road coach at his absolute best... Give mangini the best players at every position and this bumbling idiot would still find a way to lose 8 games...

Nah, this is just dumb and pointless. Its slapping a guy in the face, no class. One game in the season, what are u accomplishing? Just wait 7 days and fire him after the game.. I can wait a week for mangini to be gone

It seems like every player on the team has some mental nickname. ESPN also reported that Mangini and his days are numbered.
shepwrite
Singletary was toast, no doubt... but it's a weird move. Only thing I can think of after the ugly tirade with Troy Smith is that his team wanted him gone, gone, gone. He was in over his head from day one. He just isn't a head coach. I watched the video, I didn't see any "ugly tirade" on Singletary's part. I did see a tirade on Troy Smiths part, who had to be calmed down by a team mate. Troy Smith was the one who instigated it. Harry Buffalo
I would just like to say that EVERYONE who uses Mangini's name and switches it around to show how they feel about him are all assholes. And that goes for the fans of him and the haters alike. Use the phucking name god and his parents gave him because otherwise you just sound like an asshole. He said something to send a guy who was trying to diffuse the situation (Ginn) into an uproar as well. I'm not sure how Singletary is associated with class. Didn't he pull his pants down during a halftime speech? That is just strange. He promoted an environment of instability and that is what he got. I do agree that they should have waited until the season was over though but it is hard to tell what went on behind closed doors.

The 49ers havent had a front office since crazy eddie dabartolo was forced out... I don't think it is strange at all. miktoxic
while the fans take it in the ass.. no, you might take in the ass but i sure as hell don't! i hope all you gruden love and fire mangini f##ks are all willing to put up when the coaching carousel comes around again (your wish, not mine) and it takes another f##kin four years to put in another system, get another coaches' preferred personnel etc. and we have the same or worse record under your watch. impatient little pricks. Riddle me this? How good were the Saints before Sean Peyton? If you don't remember people were saying how untalented they were when he took over. I am sure Mike Smith and the falcons didnt turn it around in 1 year. Oh thats right they did! HOW bout we just give Mangini all the time he wants... Pumpkin Eater
Sean Peyton? He was given more than two years to turn the Saints around. He also has Drew Brees. Sean Peyton also won the superbowl after his fourth season as head coach of the Saints. So it took him four years. Stop licking gruden's sack. WRREBEL
Yeah cause seah peyton didn't go 10 and 6 in his first year with the saints Point is he didn't need 2 years.. Mangini got 10 WINs in 2 years
miktoxic
Yeah cause seah peyton didn't go 13 and 3 in his first year with the saints Point is he didn't need 2 years.. Mangini won't get to 13 wiinss in two years dude. for real? 2006: 10-6 2007: 7-9 so he dropped below .500 2008: 8-8 won one more than the year before 2009: 13-3 with a 3 game losing streak at the end of the year only to go to the super bowl and win it. first year roster (just on offense, and most still on roster): brees, bush, mcallister, shockey, colston and horn. he had all this HIS FIRST YEAR and with the following couple of years continued to build the team through draft and fa. (does that sound like something that is reasonable to give a coach?) i rest my case.
miktoxic
you can rest ur case all you want... BTW, i have naked pictures of your mom, I will sell them to you real cheap! sucks that you have no valid response, huh?
Gips
Call it classless if you will but i call it trying to get on the fast track, singletary was only doing slightly better than manweenie so i guess you think being an endless laughing stock of a front office/owner like the browns that never does anything to improve is classy? As a fan i consider it a smack in the face to many the way it is and there is nothing classy about a fukin owner that cant run his team or even hire the right guy to do it..pure rubbish!
