Guest WUTCHY
I'm really not a Browns fan. I like the Browns, but I'm a steeler fan. I like KC too. I think that the Browns have promise, and will be pretty good next year. To get them over the top, I think Mike Holmgren should hire DOM CAPERS as head coach/defensive coordinator, and TOM CABLE as assistant head coach/offensive coordinator. I don't know if the Browns would win the division, but I'd bet they would make the playoffs every year, and even contend for the big show. IF THERE IS A BETTER IDEA THAN THIS ONE, I'LL KISS YOUR ASS! Guest WUTCHY
LOOK, THE ONLY WAY THE BROWNS CAN CONTEND, IS IF THEY HIRE DOM CAPERS AS HEAD COACH, AND TOM CABLE AS OFFENSIVE COORDINAOTR/ASSISSTANT HEAD COACH. THERE IS NO WAY THEY WIN ANYTHING, UNLESS THEY GO THIS ROUTE. CAPERS IS A GREAT COACH THAT NEVER HAD A GUY LIKE TOM CABLE TO RUN HIS OFFENSE. CAPERS AND CABLE COULD WIN IT ALL. PERIOD. END OF DISCUSSION.

hoorta
Are you his agent? Capers a great coach? FYI, we just FIRED a coach who has a better career winning percentage than Capers. No thanks. EDIT: I see you're a Steeler fan, of course you'd like us to hire Capers- he's the worst possible candidate for the job. I'll put the corollary on the collegiate level. us Ohio State fans were hoping Rodriguez would be coaching at Michigan forever- we'd beat them EVERY year. Granted...but who knows...the combo just might work. I think there are better ways to go but anything is possible.

Nah, that's not possible- Capers is defensive side, has no ties to Holmgren, and Cable reportedly got into it with one of the players. We've already tried the retread route, and Mangini had FAR better credentials than Capers.

Gafreleets
......said the New England Patriots.... yeah, that was a HUGE win!!!! how much did it help in the end? i mean I'D be proud of a 5-11 season as long as a couple of those wins were against quality teams. Gafreleets
...when they went to Pittsburgh hey, pats are good. brady is probably the GOAT as far as QBs go. hopefully they will get eliminated before we have to face them in the playoffs. if not, we have a any given sunday shot. but at least with us being IN the playoffs we have a shot. unlike teams who missed the playoffs by a mile. hem, hem. Gafreleets
just a little back story to brownandorange's comments. he seems to be EXTREMELY homophobic and i pointed out to him a couple days ago that it might be something he's trying to repress in himself then. since i made that comment he's been on a bender to prove just how un-homosexual he is. this is the last msg i got from him. "Homosexuals are weird. You say you are not a homophobe? So you enjoy watching gay porn on the internet? You've been blocked don't bother replying. " - brownandorange like i asked before, "doth the man protest too much?" i think he does.
