Could be. I didn't see the game, but had to see this run. Wow. Look at 10 seconds. Almost William Green like, jk.

Not even close to the greatest, he didn't have to try that hard to shake off the weakest attempts at tackling since the saints d was playing pee wee. Nine, count em, nine botched tackle attempts. The saints couldn't tackle my grandfather shambling down the field...

Not sure about the greatest run in playoff history but it was absolutely great. A few others come to mind. Marcus Allen against the Redskins. And of course a run that won the game for the Skins against Miami by John Riggans on a must have play

How did he stiff arm that guy for 10 yards?

It was Roman Harper. He was actually run down by Sam Bradford earlier in the year. He needs to retire. As far as Lynch is concerned I've always been a fan and that stiff arm was sick BUT as others have mentioned the tackling was putrid. They broke it down post game and there was 9 missed tackles and a few of them were pretty terrible.

it was actually tracy porter who got stiff armed

roman harper had a pretty bad game tho

harper also admitted after being run down by sam bradford that he intentionally ran out of bounds because he didnt want to run up the score......idk how much truth it holds but its worth mentioning

Wow. Someone told me the other night it was Harper so I went off that and yea I doubt he "went out of bounds" As far as Porter is concerned that's pretty glaring. Most CB's are going to get run down by a running back but he got the hand to the face and Lynch pushed him like it was his little brother imitating WWE in the living room. Horrible display of tackling no matter how you shake it.

it was an ugly game all around

fwiw porter isnt a tackling corner. it was one of his biggest weaknesses coming out of college and he really hasnt improved a whole lot in the NFL but his coverage skills are pretty good.....it makes up for not being able to tackle if you can prevent catches like he does or pick off passes the way he does

im just disappointed in the entire effort. the offense puts up 36 points and we lose because the defense couldnt stop an antique QB and a RB that nobody wanted

great effort but not greatest play. notice how Hasselbeck reaches the end zone at the same time as the running back... the worst tackling I have ever seen and that is saying a lot having watched our defense over the years...
