Just want to say happy trails and good ridance to Abe Elam. Gonna miss Trusnik just cus he's from Nordonia. Anyone else from the Mangini players you see leaving. And also are there any player you see coming in like, McNabb, Kolb, St. Louis players????

Did you watch Elam play this year? He is not a pro bowl player but he had a good second half of the season. Trusnic is just average. Don't start blaming Mangini for our talent problems either. He did what he could with what he was given. Now lets move on and support our new coach Pat Shurmur...

To answer your other questions: St. Louis has no one to give us as Bradford and Jackson are their only offense. No to McNabb and Kolb. We will get WRs in the draft and free agency - maybe breaston (ARZ) or Jones (GB) would be good pickups.. We also need a pass rusher and depth on the defensive line and right side of our OL so again no St. Louis players..

I think they will bring in an old pro as backup. I could actually see McNabb coming (don't be haters). I don't think cutting players will have anything to do with Mangini, it will be based on their talent (or lack of), positional need, salary, who else is available and adjustments in personnel that are required as a result of adjustments in offensive and defensive schemes.

But what do I know, I don't believe aliens built the pyramids. I actually believe some hard working Egyptians did it.

I say most of them will likely be leaving soon, not sure if its a good thing just yet though, none of them have anything over mediocre but toughness however its more than we will have without them..

I hope Elam stays to be honest. I think he started coming into his own towards the end of the year. And we have so many other holes to fill why let him walk and create another one. He is in the the prime of his career right now why let him him have his best years with another team. I also think think will benefit from Ward being a year further along in his career.

Whatever you're smoking, I want some. Mangini stocked this roster with ST's players, not good backups, because ST's players are fringe players and will buy into your system. He got rid of more talent than he brought in, he drafted like crap, he traded the #5 overall pick to his former team for players that team would consider 2nd string, he traded our #1 WR (#3 pick overall) for Trusnik, Stuckey and 3rd & 5th round picks, he dropped Don Carey, he started Lewis over Harrison and Wright over Haden, and to top it all off he couldn't manage QB's. He did what he could with what he was given? He gave it all away, dude.

WTF makes you think that all these moves were made by Mangini?

If you are so damn smart, why are you not an NFL HC or GM?

mangini has a good history of bringing in very good players both through the draft and free agency

the players that he brought to cleveland are no different and in a few years they will be the cornerstones of a solid franchise just like the jets are now

for some reason teams love using manginis players, but dont like using mangini

Hey Elam was pretty good in the last half of this season.

I get the feeling that things would be very different for this team if Mangini was just the head coach in '09, and we had brought in an actual GM instead of having him draft and such.

LMAO! Gipper come on now, I have seen lists of players posters have said Eric brought to the JETS, yet he didn't run those drafts the GM did. Then I am supposed to believe that the hand picked GM Eric brought here did all the dirty work? You have got to be kidding me. Eric was a genius in New York with their draft, but suddenly he is not responsible for the shit players he acquired here on his own accord?

Give me a fooking break. He doesn't and shouldn't shoulder all the blame, but most of these moves were for Jets players. And the compensation we received was WAY below market value.

Mangini trades with one team, sends high value for low return, and I am supposed to blame the handpicked BAL GM? You are seriously trying to sell this to me?

You're better than that.

Examples? Surely you can't be refering to Braylon "brick hands" Edwards?! We got Stuckey, Trusnic , and a third and 5th rounder to get rid of that team cancer.. To put it in persepective, the patriots gave up Randy Moss and a 7th rounder for a 3rd rounder...
