Mr. T
Do you have a “right” to a job, home or healthcare?: "Americans have always been passionate about their rights. Whether conservative or liberal, we vigorously assert and defend them when we debate national policies like health-care reform or extending unemployment benefits. Unfortunately, the concept of 'rights' is often poorly understood across the ideological spectrum. Some conflate rights with responsibilities. Others label any benefit they think people should have as a right. ... In the Founders' vision, government's sole legitimate purpose is to protect our rights." calfoxwc
Libs think everybody has a "right" to whatever they want, because they ride high on a small leftist and/or entitlement crowd. I call it the "Sandinista Syndrome". The rest of the votes come from fraudulent emotional levers, fake promises, and KGB style character assassinations. Americans didn't like that, and the miterms election wins for conservatives was the response.

Dude Im not trying to piss you off really, but don't you think its kind of ridiculous to blame everything on the liberals. Agree with you that they suck, but could say the exact same thing about conservatives over the past 30 or so years. For instance, just recently the libs were trying to reduce the amount of money that the government takes out of your check, a conservative view point btw, by reducing the amount we pay to social security. I was shocked they even considered it and was sure the conservatives would of jumped on that opportunity. But wouldn't you know they took the liberal route and decided to fight it. Truly there is no way of knowing what anyone stands for anymore. Scary to think one side thinks the other side is bad when political agendas shift like this. Mr. T
That is a poor representation. If you dont allow the withholding to be taken out or even reduce it; the fact still remains that those receiving unemployment checks still have to pay income taxes on the money they received. Kinda sounds like the Health Care debate. They sell that everyone gets HC, when all it is a mandate that everyone must buy HC. even if they cannot afford it! or else they get fined by the IRS! The libs were/are selling false hope. So I am glad the GOP fought it. That is the biggest problem with progressive libs, they tell you they did something for you while all along they are pissing down your back. The "entitlement crowd" are pretty much the libs, and the Dem's promises suck up to them for the continuation of a Dem lib voting bloc. They want free housing, Obamao to pay their bills with "Obamaomoney" (you've seen that video?), eduction, etc. Now, they want to extend those promises to illegal aliens. It's one of my major annoyances in politics. That is not on the conservative side.
