Darren Sporles F/A

Everyone is saying we need to take Noel Devine outta WVA in some of the later rounds, why not try to pick Darren Sproles as a change of pace back for Peyton Hillis, hes great out of the backfeild and can basically do it all like Punt Return and Kick Return leaving Cribbs more time to Develop into a WR if thats what hes trying to

For the same reason we didn't keep Harrison, which is because he can't block. I would expect the Browns to not throw a ton of money or a high draft pick at another RB, sure we will most likely be getting one in the 4th or later rounds like calfoxwc mentions or a cheap signing but we have Hillis and Montario Hardesty.

He can block pretty well and i dont care what anyone says the guy can flat out ball, the chargers do not use him enough...I would give him at least 10 touches a game...I watched the Oklahoma vs Kansas St game when they had that great Defense and he put up 350 yards agasnt it, and still didnt get drafted till the 4th round....He is lighting in a bottle, think about it if Hillis never got his opportunity what the NFL and Browns could have missed there are plenty of great players who just never get a chance to shine and when they are plugged in they are above average....Stephon Johnson the Bills WR no one ever even heard of that guy and he couldnt be covered the last half of the season, Ben Jarvis Green Ellis, Danny Woodhead the list goes on and on

How about DeMarco Murray? He's a Sooner back. No other place i trust more to make star backs than Oklahoma. Not to mention we'll get him late. He's 6'2' 205 lbs. with ridiculous speed and catching ability. He'd be a Reggie Bush-type back that we can use with Hillis. Sproles' days are numbered.

i would love to get a guy like this, but not at the cost sproles is going to yield. I'm hoping we can find a guy in the later rounds a la McCluster this last draft who may not be polished but has blinding speed. I completely agree we need a guy like that on our team, cause we severely lack speed

The guy didn't play a down this year in the regular season.

We really don't know what we have with Hardesty.

He is also a power runner, like Hillis, I don't think we NEED a speedy RB but I would like to have one.

He's not a power runner like Hillis. He's a power runner like Hardesty.

They have completely different styles. Hardesty's spin was considered to be one of the best spin moves in the NCAA. That's something for a "power" runner.

Just watched a Hardesty highlight reel and I like what I saw. If he can make it in the NFL then him and Hillis will be a great 1-2 combo, especially in the WCO. Of course for both of them to truly succeed then they may have to sacrifice some yardage, I doubt each one will break a 1000 yards in a season.

Don't spend the money on Sproles when we can use that money to pick up another FA like DL or OL, maybe even a WR (Sidney Rice???).

If Hardesty turns out to be a bum then we can draft next year.
