calfoxwc
From Rotoworld: "Eagles OL coach Juan Castillo is reportedly under consideration for the Browns' offensive coordinator job. Castillo is regarded as one of the top line coaches in football, and is also interested in moving up the latter. He has history with new Browns coach Pat Shurmur dating back to Shurmur's days as the Eagles' QBs coach." ****************************** (he meant "ladder". honest...) calfoxwc
He has quite a work ethic story. A ton of honor about himself. I would love for him to become the OC for the Browns, he will learn everything from Shurmur and Holmgren, and will have Shurmur calling the plays initially... Do it, Browns. He'll make you glad you did. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/hispanicher...tory?id=3587693
Nw220
I kinda have to say i would like this hire, a great O line coach as a OC sounds good to me...Peyton Hillis the beast with a great O line coach developing blocking schemes to get open holes just sounds nice
calfoxwc
ROTOWORLD: "A source tells the Philadelphia Inquirer & Daily News that the Browns have not asked the Eagles for permission to speak with OL coach Juan Castillo. Tony Grossi of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported Friday that Castillo was under consideration for the Browns' offensive coordinator job. Castillo -- regarded as one of the top line coaches in football -- makes a lot of sense for the Browns given his history with new coach Pat Shurmur. Look for the Browns to ask for permission sometime in the coming days."

Shurmer wants a rookie Coordinator who will just help with the game plan and learn for the first year or two before calling plays and Shurmer wants one of the main focus' to be on the O-Line. Sounds perfect to me. Hell maybe the Eagles will fire their current O coordinator to try and keep this guy like they tried to do with Jauron. pizzadeliveryguy
Nothing like being the destination where coaches come to learn and pad their resume. Awesome.

Great move by the Browns! "A source tells the Philadelphia Inquirer & Daily News that the Browns have not asked the Eagles for permission to speak with OL coach Juan Castillo. Good thing! This guy is NOT what we need! Holmgren saw this and made the right decision to pass on him! Excellent move by the Browns
