ClevelandFanForLife
Mack will probably be in the Pro Bowl because whichever team goes to the SB, the center won't play. Congrats to Alex Mack.
Harry Buffalo
Would have preferred him to take Mangolds spot though.
jrb12711
http://www.clevelandbrowns.com/news/articl...29-397651e0df5f Second-year Browns center Alex Mack was named to the AFC's Pro Bowl roster, the team announced Monday afternoon. Cleveland Browns center Alex Mack has been named to the AFC Pro Bowl roster, the league announced today. Mack replaces New York Jets center Nick Mangold who could not participate due to injury. "I'm very excited to be able to go to Hawaii,” Mack said. “It's unfortunate that Nick had to get injured for me to go, but I'm looking forward to representing the Browns. It has been a lifelong dream for me and from here on, it's working to make many more. I'm excited to be going and I can't wait to play in this game." Mack has not missed an offensive snap since joining the Browns as the 21st overall selection of the 2009 NFL Draft. In 2010, he was part of an offensive line that paved the way for five individual 100-yard rushing performances and a running game that averaged 4.0 yards per rush attempt. He is one of six Browns centers to earn Pro Bowl honors and the first since Tom DeLeone in 1981. Mack will be joined in Hawaii by teammate Joe Thomas, who was voted a starter at tackle. For the first time since the 1981 Pro Bowl, the Browns will have at least two offensive linemen at the annual all-star game. That year, guard Joe DeLamielleure, DeLeone and tackle Doug Dieken all represented the Browns. very well deserved, a solid player we have with mack indeed. Thoughts? Squintz
Love Mack, but still would've rather had Clay Matthews III instead..."The Claymaker"!

jrb12711
According to the NFL pro bowl website, he'll also be starting. That's pretty cool, Mack definitely has a very bright future with the browns.
Harry Buffalo
Well he should be starting since 1: Pouncey shouldn't be going because he has to play in the Super Bowl and 2: Pouncey also has a high ankle sprain so if he wants any chance of playing in the super bowl there is no way he is going to be able to play in the Pro Bowl. Thoughts? i'm very proud of the mack pick. if we can shore up the right side of our OL this upcoming season via draft or FA, and get hardesty back healthy to help hillis, i think colt mccoy can have an awesome year. build from the middle out on both sides of the ball. ballpeen
hopefully next year we get an RT who is Pro Bowl worthy and woo hoo - we will have an offensive line people ! I don't even care if he is pro-bowl worthy. At this point, I would settle for NFL good. My definition of NFL good means the guy could start for all but maybe 10 teams.
