Nw220
Rice, Holmes, Jackson,Floyd and Smith are all options i would consider as well as Breaston and a couple other guys.....I really think we need to grab a WR via FA because the way things are looking in Cincy AJ Green is almost a sure thing to go there

Unsympathetic
MSW is absolutely not worth the effort. He completely disappeared last year. Smith is far too old. Jackson is a head case. Floyd/rice/holmes - perhaps. There really isn't a quick fix available.. it's all about the draft.

Nw220
Yeah i think the draft may be the best way to go as well only problem is you know Cincy is gonna jump on AJ Green and i dont see us taking Julio at #6 even though i dont think its a terrible idea, but i wouldnt mind Holmes or someone else because i can see us ending up with I cant Catch Hankerson in the second round which would suck
Harry Buffalo
He was a Cleveland Brown in 2006. We made an oops. It just goes to show that our organization really isn't going to try and progress rookies. You get as much time as deemed from the price of picking you up. Undrafted free agents need to perform right away (Benard) in order to stick around and picks as much time as deemed from the position they are picked in. Hell we trade away Wimblie last year who plays way better in a 4-3 (what are we running now) and we keep inviting Graham Harrell to training camp only to send him packing even though his skill sets are perfect for a back up QB, especially one in a WCO (accurate and good game manager). The only reason Robiskie wasn't tossed to the wolves last year was because of the good training camp he had (must have been running routes against Eric Wright). Nw220
Minnesota is going to franchise rice.. I don't mean that they are going to sit rookies and then drop/trade them, I am saying players that take that 3-4 years to get good enough to become starters are shipped out because they are not producing right away. Obviously Haden and Ward are going to progress, because they came right out good enough to start and the same goes for McCoy, but most UFA's and late round picks the Browns get are dropped before their rookie year is up. Ya this is due to past regimes and I hope the new one stops it but since 1999 the only players who are with the team for a few years are the ones who are starting right off the bat and not progressing for a few years. The only player we picked up as a rookie that was given time to develop was Rubin.

slowburn
I like M. Floyds' size @ 6' 5", 225 lbs. He would be an excelllent weapon for a high powered passing offense. Hamstring problems could lower his cost for those teams looking to get a good value on a player with some potential durability issues. His stats last three years are decent: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FloyMa00.htm

There are some other decent choices in the list but I feel that a lot of them will be resigned (lance moore, breaston, clayton, ect). If we get one of those guys in red plus A.J. Green I think we will be looking good. We would have momass, cribbs, and robo for slot receivers and watson and evan moore as two good TE options to go along with free agent pickups and possibly Green. And If we can get two of the guys in red I think we can draft defensive front in the first round...
