cambridgeho
We will probably see at least 3 of these guys on our team, plus the #6 pick in the draft might be dl. All I know is that we will be spending a lot of money this offseason.
Nw220
I like Seymour and Williams, Also i dont think Ngata will go anywhere but he'd be really nice....John Henederson might not be a bad look....But i really hope Rogers can do something next year he thrived in a 4-3 while in Detriot but i dont think it will happen he dosent seem to wanna play, Rubin i think will thrive in the 4-

I am actually excited about seeing what Jaymal Mitchel can do at DE. He doesn't have alot of stats and has been a career back up but you can tell he is a pass rush specialist who we should be able to see on some 3rd and longs and who knows maybe no one ever really gave him a chance and he can turn into a Peyton Hillis only at DE. CantonLegend
realistically some good options would be chris hovan, abrayo franklin, or shaun cody at DT the browns have some solid ends but the 4-3 starts on the inside and they need some guys that can penetrate gaps rather than take up blockers everybody wants a pass rusher, but a one dimensional DE doesnt help anybody and if you dont have some good DTs, nobody is going to care about your pass rushing end because nobody is going to bother passing the ball
ClevelandFanForLife
I still think it's worth giving Vernon Gholston a shot at 4-3 DE. The Jets have to be sick of him by now and will most likely cut him. The guys is young and has skills. He just needs to be playing his position first. Agreed always thought he should have played the DE from the get go and should have never been stood up to play the OLB position completely threw him off and shook his confidence.....I wouldnt mind trying him out at DE thats what he needs to play

A highly talented YOUNG guy who may have been in the wrong system. The price should be reasonable, so why not take a look-see? You may build some depth with 32 year olds, but we need YOUTH to build a legacy. If we look at free agents, let's look at the young ones, especially young guys who just may benefit from a change in systems to a 4-3 D or a WCO. Gips
Youth its all about adding potentially overlooked yet talented youth that will not only be grateful for the opportunity but potentially offer the club a return.. Heckert is the right guy to get er done!

It would only be a 4 game suspension but they are both getting old too.. And since Ngata will resign and rogers is now off the team, we need to focus on a younger defensive line through free agency but mostly the draft... Agreed but the players that will be there arent that great, Fairley and Bowers will be gone...Which leaves us with probaly Robert Quinn or Marcell Dareus both i feel are not that great of players...But hell Heckert knows what hes doing so ill put some faith into whoever he drafts will be the right guy...Still wouldnt mind us to trade down and say grab Julio Jones thats the best thing i could see happening

Harry Buffalo
We aren't going to be players in free agency because the team wants to get younger through drafting. But from where the team is at right now they have no option but to sign players, even one or two high paid play makers, in FA in order for us to compete next year. They don't really have a choice. Erie Dawg
I didn't know Seymour was on the list, I know he's been a 3-4 guy .... but I would sign him just to let him punch Ben in the face twice a year. Zombo Im not sure about his list because im sure I seen alot of high profile players that were getting the franchise tag on nfl.com. and Seymour was one of them and I believe there was one of the steelers players that are not on the list. maybe he needs to give a link?
