SJ_Browns
I've been seeing reports on ESPN (yesterday and today) that Carson Palmer is at it again. He said he'll retire if the Bengals don't trade him. He also said he has money in the bank and would play for the love of the game, just not in Cinci. His status could possibly affect who will be available at #6.
Northwest Editor
If he's starting for the Virginia Destroyers in the UFL next year, then we'll know he's serious about the love of the game. I wonder where he could go and have a good shot at winning. Most of the league's best teams are set at the QB spot. Minnesota, Oakland maybe Arizona are three places with talent, just not at the QB position. Oh, and Miami. And San Fran.
Nw220
I really hope they do trade him or release him, that way they may draft a QB say Newton...But it seems he may be headed to Buffalo, hopefully there high on Gabbert

He couldn't play even for the UFL because he is under contract with the Bengals. You know the deal with Mike Brown....the only thing he cares about is the bottom line. He won't do something like trading Palmer for a draft pick if he doesn't want to even if it would benefit his team.
LCDawgFan13
I tend to believe Palmer on this one. I think he'll really retire if he isn't traded. Mike Brown needs to swallow what's left of his pride and get what he can for Palmer and move on. It's not like Palmer's actually ever won anything in Cincy anyway. Time for a rebuild in the 'Nati

Slurp and Burp
If you look at the history of the Bengals it is a dump of a franchise that Paul Brown created and now his son runs in the same losing fashion. Paul Brown has run two football teams and has never won a Super Bowl. Ohio in general has the worst performing pro sports teams in the country i.e the Bengals, Browns, Indians. Why can't they win in Ohio? Is it something in the water? Even when Ohio teams put together good seasons they seem to be cursed in the post-season no matter what sport it is. The Browns have never played in a Super Bowl. The Indians went from 1954 to 1995 without playing in a World Series. They still haven't won one since 1948. The Cavs one trip to the NBA Finals in history resulted in a sweep at the hands of San Antonio. No wonder Palmer wants out. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/392399-the-ultimate-sports-curse-the-city-of-cleveland
Pumpkin Eater
And yet you've had sex fewer times than Ohio teams have won championships. And you have fewer teeth. What's that say about a Yinzer like you? too slow to catch your sister?

Paul Brown has run two football teams and has never won a Super Bowl. Paul Brown didn't coach in the years when "Super Bowl" was the name of the NFL championship game. PB has, however, won more professional football championships than any other coach. But then I am sure that a cum sucker like you already knew that. Ohio in general has the worst performing pro sports teams in the country i.e the Bengals, Browns, Indians. Why can't they win in Ohio? Is it something in the water? Even when Ohio teams put together good seasons they seem to be cursed in the post-season no matter what sport it is. Why don't you do some real analysis and put your money where my dick is. Give us the professional sports championship history of every state in the union. And while you are at it you better include Canadian provinces. (Is there a reason you left the Reds out?) The Browns have never played in a Super Bowl. The Indians went from 1954 to 1995 without playing in a World Series. They still haven't won one since 1948. How much do you want to bet that Ohio's "championship history" doesn't have one goddam thing to do with Palmer's positon...He just wants to get away from Mike Brown and Marvin Lewis. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/392399-the-ultimate-sports-curse-the-city-of-cleveland
