THE BROWNS BOARD

The Herd wins the over under with N. Chad about the Browns season

So, Normal Chad and Colin Cowherd had an over under bet before the season started on the Browns number of wins. Number was 8. Chad bet the over, The Herd bet the under. Herd says he knew Anderson wasn't the answer and therefore the Browns were "pretenders".

Both on ESPN radio just now blaming RAC for waiting until mid-season to pull DA and insert Quinn. Chad flabbergasted even. They say he fell asleep with DA at the helm.

Good to hear someone else saw it coming since all of the giggling talking heads (those game day desks full of ex-players can be pretty bad) last year were all defending Anderson without looking at the stats. They saw 10 wins and a Pro Bowl and judged from there.

(for those interested, Colin gets a paragraph in one of Chad's January articles. Pffft)

Cowherd came to ESPN from Portland Oregon and has hated on DA since he was in high school.

Hate or calls it as he's seen it since DA's HS years (his career #'s from HS to pros would support this). What ever makes it easier for you and DA to sleep at night.

Cowshit bases his picks on bandwagons, sex appeal, and the mythical "It Factor" the same way that shep does. He doesn't know much about football strategy and he doesn't know anything about playing it. Would you disagree?

I'd agree w/ he believes in the "it factor" and doesn't know much in way of strategy (x's and o's) or much about actually playing. But he doesn't claim to be any type of expert.

But I'd disagree that he picks on bandwagons or sex appeal. If that were the case, he would have been on the Browns and Dallas. Both he called out for the same issues that came to pass.

He makes his picks/calls based on watching games, talking to people in vegas, ESPN insider guys, and other people around x,y,z sport.

If you listen to the herd he broke down DA with perfection. He has seen him a long time and the boy hasn't changed his game at all. He was the same in HS, College, and Pros. He will not get any better. What you see is what you get with him. Get over already and just agree. You know its true.

Weird. Most will root for their own even when they're flawed. DA has always been an interception machine, and maybe The Herd was just calling out more of the same.

I'm not buying the "he's always had it out for DA" stuff. Not to mention, Colin was right.
