VaporTrail
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlfokvjooZw Just wanted to point out that on one website, this video received 135,000 unique hits while the Japanese tsunami and meltdown coverage received only 40k. Looks like Huxley was right. Oh well, this dude is a badass. Guess I'm part of the problem, too. Discuss.
calfoxwc
Well, generally, you don't expect to see Casey's problem solving on all the news. So you watch it on video. The news, rightly so, is dominated by the tsunami and nuclear plant possible meltdown drama. You can watch that on tv any time you turn it on. That's all. BTW, I applaud the kid - bullying doesn't end with complaints to teachers. I once, in high school, was on crutches after knee surgery, heavy cast on my leg.... All of a sudden, I was fodder for bullying. What could I do? I smarted back at my usual two tormentors when they bumped my books out of my hand in the hallway. They tripped my crutch out from under me... I mentioned it to a favorite teacher, who went to the principal. He talked to the two big roughneck hoodlums. So, the next time, they came up behind me, and shoved me down the stairs. So they got suspended because friends saw them do it. So, later, I was fine, and in the fall, they started it all over again. On the basketball court, playing intramural basketball, they both started to rough me up every time they had a chance. I kept making my foul shots, but they just kept on - I got elbowed in the ear a few times, elbowed in the nose, tripped a few times, shoved out of bounds, so, I was like that kid. I'd had enough. I called a time out, and asked my teammates to do me a big favor, I had something to take care of. I said I was going to pass the ball inbounds, and I wanted them to not shoot, but to get the ball right back to me. Well, I did, and they did. And I was all alone, on the sideline three point area, and I just dribbled a bit, and the bigger of the two hoodlums came at me. I faked a quick shot twice, and on the third shot, I went up and almost shot. but I didn't. He was running right at me, went well up into the air to come down on my noggin and crush me. But, I didn't leave my feet. I didn't shoot. He went up into the air over my head, and I brought the ball back down. He came down over my head.... and I shoved the basketball into his midsection as violently as I could.. He fell across my right shoulder and neck, and I flipped him off and he went head first into the floor. And he couldn't breathe for a full minute, I guess, and I turned to his buddy bully friend, and pointed at him, as in "you;'re next" ... I was really, really po'd. He backed away, didn't want to have any part of messing with me. I was never fouled again. And, I made MY two foul shots again. And their other team members raised hell about it, and got a technical. LOL. And, the one kid I sent to the floor, didn't play intramural basketball again in our tournement... and didn't come back to school for three days, and I never got in any trouble. Hey. "I was fouled". @@ The next time I saw them both, the kid I sent to the floor mumbled "hey, we're cool, man". And his friend nodded, and they kept their distance. Funny how that works. So, I don't blame the bullied kid - I admire him greatly, for standing up for himself. One day, two years later after hs graduation, I was home on leave from the AF in Mississippi, still in my dress blues, and Dad and I went to a hs football game. As we walked across to where we were going to sit in the bleachers... those same two guys were standing at the fence. The bigger kid said "Hey Mr. Calfox, looking proud, man" and other one gave me a thumbs up and nodded at me. I smiled and nodded back. You probably have to be a guy to understand.............. calfoxwc
Casey had at one time, considered suicide - he'd been bullied so much. Like I say, I admire the kid for standing up. It should stop now. I wish him all the best in life. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/contemplated-suicide-casey-the-punisher-tells-his-story-on-australian-tv/
