Legacy Fan
Here is part one of a 6-part interview of Mossaf Hassan Yousef - a former Hamas member who's father helped to found the Islamic fundamentalist group. Yousef Jr. was formerly a very active member of Hamas (seen as a future leader for radical Palestinians), but has converted to Christianity. His personal selling point: Matthew 5:44 "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." Seeing no improvement or fulfillment with his former religion, he made the switch. Pretty interesting watch if you've got the time. The 1st part is 6 minutes and the rest are 8ish (60 min in all).
Mr. T
I saw this on Fox the other night, Nice post. I thought that it was very interesting what he had to say about Islam contridicting itself, and how that most of the leaders of Hamas only want to preach about Jihad out of the Koran. I hope he will be rewarded political asylum from the US.
calfoxwc
Stories like this are amazing. It has to take a lot of courage to stand up like he did. I would wonder if they will be out to get him for it... Hope not. That is some serious conviction and courage.
Mr. T
Has anyone sen this? Beware, We are Coming! Islamic rule 'from Alaska and Chile to South Africa' http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=85730
osusev
i have attempted to read parts of the Koran and it is more contradicting to its collaborative writings than even the bible. That is the problem with human interpretation using the Koran as a source material. They can find verses to justify anything they want while other condemn specific actions.. Its a pick em game of justification. This man would be a great PR tool and we should grant him asylum to use to try to reach some more moderate thinkers in the middle east. The problem again is the education and poverty level of societies, religions always dominate in poor under educated populations.

It is the same with all of the holy books, the Koran is nothing special when it comes to the contradictions.
osusev
pb&j thats not true, the bible, the koran definately . Tao-te ching (the classic of Tao and its characteristics) Taoism written by Lao-tzu is not contradictory and their are many other religious writings that are fairly direct and non contradictory. The muslims are like the christians in the sense they are offshoots of the hebrews and not original systems of beliefs rather small cults who used geopolitical leaders to spread their influence.
