Bill Belichick, Tom Coughlin, Mike Shanahan, and Tony Dungy were all fired from previous Head Coaching Jobs before leading their teams to SB Championships.

Let's hope if we hire Mangini he falls into this category.

We might not be THAT far off. Look at the Giants before the '07 season. Strahan's a no-show in training camp, the word "Bust" is being thrown in Eli's direction. Coughlin was reportedly on a short leash. They were 10-6 just like us, then went against the mighty Pat's in the SB.

If Mangini's the next HC he could look at why the Giants came together as a team and how Coughlin approached the season....bowling.

On NFL network they did a profile on the team from that year and more than one player commented on how they bonded in training camp during a surprise break Coughlin set-up when he took the team....bowling. All the so-called guru's could never have thought that one up. F**KING bowling. Hell, I'll even pay for the shoe rentals if it meant a SB. Make 'em a Team first, then work on the details.
