Minnesota needs a Left Tackle and for months now Kalil was considered a lock at 3. If some team trades up ahead of us what scenario would you most like to see? We could then shop the 4 to any teams interested in Kalil or take Blackmon/Claiborne. How would you feel if we took Claiborne at 4 then traded back up into the top ten for Igram or Kuechly? choco Posted April 26, 2012 Report Share Posted April 26, 2012 if TB moves up, its for one player. you then take blackmon if the rams wont pony up. if blackmon isn't rated that high, start trading back. insofar as your latter scenario....it'd be terrible to say the least. we may be able to hold teams to 14 points or less every game, but we'll still only score 9. Set the D for years and I was still able to help the O with later picks, e.g., Massey (RT), Marvin Jones (WR), Cyrus Gray (RB). Point is... going D first would not be the end of the world.
