Note, for most of these I will give credit only if you get all the elements of the question correct: 1. Name those team nicknames that are shared by two current teams in one of the 4 major league sports (NFL/MLB/NHL/NBA) Hint: 5 sets Correction: there are at least 6 sets. 2. Name all of the FBS Division football schools that have the nickname "Tigers". Hint: 5 schools 3. Name all of the FBS Division football schools that have the nickname "Wildcats". Hint: 4 schools 4. There are 8 FBS Division football schools in Ohio. Give all 8 nicknames of these schools. 5. What is the name of the MSL team in Vancouver (a special question just for Zombo) 6. The Associated Press NFL MVP Award has been awarded to more different people with which first name than any other? 7. The Sporting News NFL Coach of the Year Award has been awarded to more different people with which first name than any other? 8. There are 3 first names that have been held by more than 1 person that were Super Bowl MVPs. Which 3 names? 9. In 1940 the Eagles and Steelers/Pirates had proposed a permanent merger of those franchises which was rejected by the league in favor of a temporary merger. The temporary merged team became known as "The Steagles". What was to be the name of the permanently merged Eagles/Steelers to be if it had happened? 10. In its history the NFL has had 46 franchises go defunct, plus most of the AAFC teams went under as well. Which current NFL teams have the same name as any of these various defunct teams?

Also the name Detroit Lions was a team in the 20's and there was a Baltimore Colts in the 40's. You are right about the Texans, Colts and Lions, except that they were the Brooklyn Lions, not Detroit. Perhaps you were thinking of the Detroit Wolverines.
