So, if ya go on vacation, and take a picture of anything....

you are probly' in big, serious trouble.

Sounds like certain sombodies are thinking the world is going to end.

We goin to be invaded by space aliens who look like us, or what?

It's getting very strange in our good ole U.S.A.

Hate to break it to you, but facial recognition software is not exclusive to the FBI. You can get it, but theirs is extremely sophisticated. Much like the difference between government satellites vs Google earth. Also as an FYI devices like your laptop's camera or your Microsoft (xbox) kinect can be remotely commandiered to look directly into your house. Couple that with facial recognition software and its enough to make you want to live in a shack like Ted Kacynszki.

Cysko, what kinda engineer are you? What kind of work do you do?

I'm an electrical engineer and I deal with all sorts of systems. Cameras, access control, security, some automation stuff, but largely I design clean agent fire suppression systems for use in server rooms and vaults and the like. If I screw something up a place like Cleveland Clinic or Eaton could be crippled worldwide. Verizon or ATT could be crippled regionally. You get the picture.

But I do keep my eye on technology and have some knowledge on the subject.

I think we should just get a few millions of Americans to volunteer to wear different disguises to screw with em...

Actually, Cysko, that's pretty cool stuff. Need a chauffeur? GGG

Late, alright. Worked outside til dark, and came in and helped my Wonderful Cute Wife redo our computer room.

As in, I had to throw away about a ton of old computer programs I've written years ago, old books....old computer parts

that I'll never use any more. That was several bags of stuff.

I mean, how many cables and power cords does one person need? Especially when I have no idea anymore what all sorts of them

go to.

Well, we did watch the NASCAR race. But I did a profession style cleaning of our semi auto 9mm, and cut a lot more wood, but

I'll wait til tomorrow morning to go out and split it. The amount of wood I have all split, for this winter so far, is about half the size of our computer room.

And, I'm having a couple of hot dinner rolls with butter and root beer as I type....

Hey Cysko

get me an internship at Eaton

k thnx

I know some big wigs as Eaton, Woody what do you do? Pm me your resume and ill see that it gets into the hands of their primary Cleveland Tech manager. I can't promise you anything, but if you're qualified, I know they're looking for a tech at their huge data center at 40th and Chester. The guy they used to have apparently quit to chase some chick to Florida and they haven't replaced him yet. They hired him right out of college too, and Eaton is a great company to work for. Id apply myself, but I enjoy being out in the field too much. I wouldn't like being stationary. Tried it already.

For the record, I'm familiar with many great companies in the area that you could possibly intern with.

I feel you there, cal. We moved this past may and I had to throw out a ton of cables and old computer parts and card readers and the like. I put them out to the curb and sat on the porch to watch the garbage pickers go nuts. They routinely stopped by my old house every week...I don't think they've found us here yet...

I'm Mech E, not like IT.

I'm down for trying to stay in Cleveland after I graduate though and being part of the city's resurgence. It seems like it is coming back and actually is a good place to have a career now.

A bunch of engineers I graduated with are in Cleveland, now. I'm hoping I can get into Case, but we'll see.

The question that should be asked is why in the hell is the government so fucking scared of the citizens and wants to be aware of all their movements. You need to research NY/Wall St. fusion centers.

The other question is:

"Why have ObaMao and the rest of his radical lefties determined that their

real enemy... is patriotic Americans who want to keep their Constitution, their money,

and their religion and guns?

Seriously. Something is very wrong there, especially when you add in

all the ammo purchases by various depts.... and Obamao wanting his own

"civilian security force, armed and funding like our military"

Seriously. Something is rotten in ObaMaoland.

Hey that's life in the big city bud.

For 6 years due to the Iraq and Afghanistan wars Bush was a war criminal.

now that the Great and Powerful Obama is sending kids into the meat grinder for fucking nothing it's cool.

At least inherent in the bogus accusation that we were stealing their oil, there was some oil.

Steve I agree 100% with you. That is the point, it's immature partisan bullshit from both parties.

But, back to the subject, I don't much care. There will be surveillance no matter who's in the White House.

I guess you'd have to give me a scenario of what Obama or Bush wanted to spy on me for before I got too worked up.

The libs called Bush a Communist also and he denied those accusations with his good character and showed how much he cared for this nation.

They called Obama a Communist and he owned it and continues to own it while he tears this country apart with his Marxism.
