DieHardBrownsFan Posted September 2, 2014 Author Report Posted September 2, 2014 From what I've read he is only getting a 6 game suspension. What a surprise.
miktoxic Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 well we know goodell has the owner's backs, since they write his check BUT to be drunk, have coke on you and a suitcase full of money (for what, to meet a guy and buy lolipops?) and plea down to a misdemeanor is mind-blowing in and of itself by our justice system. must be nice to have all the money in the world.
Tour2ma Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 You mean all the money minus $500k... Can't comment on the Indy plea bargain, but 6 games plus a half mil seems reasonable for the league...
slowburn Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 What happened to the four felony counts of possession of a controlled substance??? If any of you squirrely posters know more of what occurred, post it baby 4 felonies for the average drug abuser would get you/us a sentence in the Indiana Department of Corrections I betcha Hamilton County didn't even seize that homo Toyota party boy was driving. Ole boy would be a fun person to party with
Erie Dawg Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 Fucking horseshit. Irsay must of been on a 3 day bindge when he pulled the trigger on Richardson.
Bob806 Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 It's a crazy world. Say something offensive and you lose your team ownership. Get busted with a controlled substance, no problem. Just forward me a check of a half-million bucks and stay away from the team for 6 weeks. Yikes.
miktoxic Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 bomb threat, 3 felony gun charges and driving drunk within school district all reduced and sentenced to 11 days in jail.......aldon smith. and yes he was a repeat offender in the nfl. =9 games.
Comeonman Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 It's a crazy world. Say something offensive and you lose your team ownership. Get busted with a controlled substance, no problem. Just forward me a check of a half-million bucks and stay away from the team for 6 weeks. Yikes. Say something offensive in your own home no less. Crazy world

D Bone Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 Say something offensive in your own home no less. Crazy world In your own home, that are your own opinions, in a society that proclaims "free speech"............ Yea right.
RoyceRolls Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 The old phrase "talk is cheap" is seemingly outdated in modern society
Tour2ma Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 In your own home, that are your own opinions, in a society that proclaims "free speech"............ Yea right. Unless there were some criminal charges that only you are aware of, then Sterling's addled ramblings were not a free speech issue. Meanwhile back at the thread...
oldschoolfan64 Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 From what I've read, Irsay will get a six game suspension, $500,000 fine, is not allowed near the facility, practices. meetings etc...and is not allowed to have anything to do with Daily football operations, AND is banned from using Social Networking.. I'm thinking about offering Jerry Jones a bottle of Whiskey and asking him for a ride home!
Erie Dawg Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 500k is a joke of a fine. Heard on the radio yesterday morning that someone who makes 45k a year and had the same punishment as Irsay that person's fine would be 15 dollars. Yet players loose 100 times that if you equate the income. Should have taken away draft picks or super bowl bids.
