Adoug319 Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 Looks like Josh will be working at a car dealership for his year off from football http://blacksportsonline.com/home/2014/09/josh-gordon-has-a-new-job-as-an-used-car-salesman/
HowieDawg Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 Well done to the sarchione family. If this is true then I'm sure they are big browns fans, they'll get tickets to the SB next year when JG is back.
DieHardBrownsFan Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 He be smoking shit in that car.
gftChris Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 They'll have weekly weed tests...which he'll promptly pass, because someone else is whizzing for him, because these guys have to be huge Browns fans, right?
Adoug319 Posted September 4, 2014 Author Report Posted September 4, 2014 Well done to the sarchione family. If this is true then I'm sure they are big browns fans, they'll get tickets to the SB next year when JG is back. Indeed. I'm glad he's deciding to stay in cleveland, and do something productive in his free time
alporcini Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 Wonder if the Sarchione's random drug test their employees?
miktoxic Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 wonder what that gig pays? btw, how can the nfl piss test a player when he's been suspended for the year? he is no longer employed by them this year because he is not getting paid. man i hate the NFL politics that come from both the union and the NFL office itself. i know you need rules but this shit is ridiculous.
jlowe Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 he could basically go anywhere he wanted and do nothing on his year off. i applaud him for staying in cleveland and taking a shot at the real world.
hoorta Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 he could basically go anywhere he wanted and do nothing on his year off. i applaud him for staying in cleveland and taking a shot at the real world. I'm sure the dealership is paying him at least 100k to work for them. LOL, if he can stay clean- he's learning the car business. He'll be able to make enough money in the NFL to buy a dealership when he retires.
MLD Woody Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 Wonder if the Sarchione's random drug test their employees? If they do, I'm willing to bet their standards are a little less strict
miktoxic Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 can you imagine being a car salesman without taking some type of drug? no thanks.
thenew23 Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 I need a new car. Maybe I'll ride up there and buy one off Josh... Not a bad idea
TopDawg31 Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 I need a new car. Maybe I'll ride up there and buy one off Josh... Not a bad idea bring some weed and you will get a better deal
Westside Steve Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 I bet the real sales personnel just fucking love that. I suppose anyone that buys a car should probably bring a drug sniffing dog before you drive it off the lot... WSS
Erie Dawg Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 I wonder if American express shut off Gordon's black card yet
Kvoethe Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 I need a new car. Maybe I'll ride up there and buy one off Josh... Not a bad idea Smack some sense into him
PoeticG Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 Rodger Goober is a fucking piece of shit. Josh Gordon is selling cars instead of playing football in the NFL. That's fucking bullshit. They should have just mandated a retest and went from the result. This whole thing is bullshit. RG came out and said that the drug policy is lacking and not up to par with today's society and yet he lets that faggot old fashioned arbiter decide the outcome the way he did and he didn't step in and do anything about it. I'm sick of this bullshit. I bet Gordon is too. What he does on his own time as long as he's not on the field or doing something to give him an unfair advantage should be left the fuck alone. Trying to control grown adults and making them piss in a cup 10 times a month is sickening, and all this over some weed? It's fucking disgusting that in this day and age, some people still feel the need to try and control other peoples live. Grow the fuck up and let people live their lives. Josh Gordon is a fucking FOOTBALL player, not a fucking spokesman or a car salesman, he should be playing football where he belongs. The NFL failed miserably on this one... and they also happen to look like major fuckups. The CFL would take him, car-dealerships would take him, but OH- The NFL oh no. They are too good for Josh Gordon and his miniscule amount of THC to play in their league. The NFL is fucking the dog on this one. Pieces of shit. Motherfucking cock sucking pieces of shit, assholes in longing n waiting pieces of sh.....
TexasAg1969 Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 Smack some sense into him Oh God please no! http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=smack
tml1138 Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 If this is really geniunely true, I think it's good Josh eats the shit sandwich and keeps busy until his return to the NFL. Unless the rulings change or his lawyer wins his suit...lol.
Tour2ma Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 Talk about hitting rock bottom. As opposed to say doing a Snickers commercial in a leotard? If as the article said he'll have a chance to learn the business, it's not the bottom. Plus heading the Wounded Warrior effort for the dealership is a great use of his fame.
miktoxic Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 rock bottom is justin blackmon, sitting on the porch with his homies passing a blunt and drinking 40s. hey at least the guy is working, that's more than i can say for 1/3 of americans (of course his status got him the job). this family that outreached to him and offered him this opportunity. maybe there could actually be a male figure in his life that gives him positivity and teaches him how to earn respect and act like a grown up. when he's dealing drugs or selling guns call me and i'll tell you that then he has hit rock bottom.
ex-kicker Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 Bottom line the kid has made some mistakes, hopefully the Sarchione family can straighten him out!! Great family and a great family business!!

All kidding aside this quote encompasses just exactly what the NFL will be looking for when they ask him what he has done with his time while suspended, "Gordon will also be heading all of their local community efforts including with the Wounded Warriors Project."
darkside5 Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 where's his chaperone? He probably has one of those trunk monkeys
