thenew23 Posted September 9, 2014 Report Posted September 9, 2014 Browns waive Aaron Berry CB and Ryan Seymour OL Activate Marlon Moore WR and Sign Gerell Robinson TE Release Justin Staples LB from PS Sign Ifeanyl Momah WR to PS ____________________________________________________________________ Berry leaving means we are going against the Saints with Haden, Skrine and 4 rookie CBs... that's concerning. I wonder if we'll see Bademosi or Poyer playing CB this week... Signing Robinson seems to be a sign that we're worried about the extent of injury to Cameron... that's not good. Signing Ifeanyl Momah is interesting. 6'7, 238lb 3rd year WR out of Boston College who reportedly ran a 4.40 40-yard dash, but went undrafted in 2012. He sat out 2012 with a torn ACL and was signed by the Eagles in 2013. He was waived before the season, but picked up as a future roster player at the end of last year. Apparently, he nearly made their 53-man roster this year but was stuck behind a talented group of guys and was one of the last guys waived. He was converted from a TE to a WR at BC his senior year and started the season with an 8 catch, 157 yard game; however his season was ended early after an injury. Either way, his size and speed could be interesting if he develops. Here's an article about him being signed in Philly: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1699107-ifeanyi-momah-the-ultimate-philadelphia-eagles-sleeper#articles/1699107-ifeanyi-momah-the-ultimate-philadelphia-eagles-sleeper

Rookie got eaten up by Ben, here comes Brees! Zombo
Kvoethe Posted September 9, 2014 Report Posted September 9, 2014 I liked how Dray looked in 2 nd half. Big guy...caught some balls...not sure why the panic at TE.

It is REALLY a concern if they signed Momah thinking of him returning to TE as well.
TopDawg31 Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 That receiver we signed is 6'7" my guess is he can't catch or he would be on somebody's roster and not available to be picked up.
Tour2ma Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 More moves.... wow. I thought Barry looked decent in preseason. Maybe we are going to use more of our Safety depth in nickel and dime packages. I liked how Dray looked in 2 nd half. Big guy...caught some balls...not sure why the panic at TE. But he did not block very well at all. I don't expect much in the way of blocking from hybrids like Cam, but I do from more traditional TEs like Barnidge and Dray.
Kvoethe Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 Cameron is injured, if he can't play this dude will be our third TE. Zombo Dray should start over stonehand barnidge. He had 50 snaps to Barnidges 43. They just didnt taget them very much.
