ticatpete
Hi Ladies and Gents, Group of buddies are coming down to the Dawg Pound for the game vs the Texans. None of us have had the pleasure of taking in a Browns game live, needless to say we are looking forward to this weekend (also heading to a Cavs game). We'd appreciate any details on the "must knows" for game day. Tailgate information especially! Thanks,
tiamat63
You're on the lake for tailgating, dress warm. Make sure to have extra beer on hand, easier to make friends. Don't hesitate to approach other tailgates, strike up a conversation that you're Canadian and it's your first game - you'll meet some good people this way. Great Lakes Christmas ale and a little bit of cinnamon. You're welcome.
jcam222
Where you all coming from? I have spent a lot of time in Mississauga over the past 7 years on business. Met a couple girls from Oshawa area at the Browns Saints game in Cleveland. It was their first game and they were hooked.
ticatpete
Thanks guys. Coming from the Hamilton/Toronto area. RE tailgating. I assume the tailgate area is right beside the stadium. Are we allowed to walk around with open beers etc. How about a decent/safe place to go out on the weekends. Thanks again. ballpeen
Nix walking around with open beers. If you are in a parking lot and the beer is in a cup, you are mostly good. Don't walk the lots with cans of beer in your hands or start walking the streets with beer in your hand in any form of container.
miktoxic
yep, as peen said, you will get away walking around with drinks as long as they are party cupped. just follow the mainstream. don't go off the beaten path and you'll have a great time.
