It wouldnt suprize me a bit nobodys job is guaranteed with mangini on the clock..;)

It shouldn't.

I think this is a good move.

To me, it sends a positive message to the fans, and while it may be viewed as a negative by some players, it is a positive message to them as well....that everybody is going to get a shot to impress.

I'd like to try out for the waterboy position just as long as no one spits in the "c c c cooler" :D

I have insane natural kicking ability but never had a kicking coach :(

I haven't heard of this, and I hope it isn't true. It smacks of either a cheap publicity stunt ("Follow Joe Six-Pack's blog as he tries to make it as an NFL linebacker...and he's guaranteed to play at least once!") or complete desperation ("Well, we can't convince any quality FAs to come to Cleveland, and we're pretty shaky on the draft...um...maybe a fry cook at McDonalds will be able to save us!").

If there's one thing that American Idol, Wal-Mart stampedes at Christmas, and representative democracy have taught us, it's that the public is chock full of half-wits who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near vaulable commodities such as recording contracts, ballot boxes, and the Cleveland Browns.
