I have kept taking breaks from workin the farm, etc, but accumulated

some inspiring videos of the new Browns. This is exciting stuff. The Browns

will be a kickass new look team this coming season. These new Browns will

pretty much complete the team as far as competitiveness goes.

Hayes Pullard - hope he makes the cut - he was underrated.

And Nate Orchard - what an excellent fit, like all these guys. That goes with having a GM and coaches

who KNOW how to build a TEAM with the right kind of guys that fit.

What a blessing they got Orchard. I know some people wanted a receiver at that spot but Orchard was one of my favorites in this draft. WOW

I'm just so happy thinking back to the draft that the Browns for a change didn't take the bait in the 1st round. They didn't go for the flashy guy or move around, they stood pat and got two seemingly solid players with a great chance to be day 1 type dudes.

I still can't believe Seattle got do-everything Tyler Lockett. That damn Pete Carroll sure knows talent. How else could he have stolen Michael Bennett right out from everyone else's noses!

Thanks for the goodies Cal! These last 2 off-seasons have our competitive barometer set at kickoff and kickass.

Ok.....it's time to discuss this Larry Fine dude. I am not against opposing views. I actually support those, but this guy is useless.

Larry, I can be a big supporter of yours. I like opposing opinions. Just provide some worth. You aren't doing that.

Very good Mik. We'll keep you posted if there's any game changers like brain cell #1 getting on speaking terms with brain cell #2; or, if a 3rd brain cell shows up to pose a threat of intelligent conversation to follow.

what about these UDFA's? and will that rookie CB from nigeria play before last year's #1 pick? i think yes, but i hope not. yes on pierre desir as well.

fwiw i'd still like to have Buster in the nickel and dime packages, i'll miss that quiet scrappy and tenacious penalty drawing short memory player. he had some talent, but was asked to do too much.

It was a joke. Tom :P.. LOL..

Mine too! Glad to see you in the mix btw. Always enjoy seeing familiar faces in here.

It just seems like you were in a doom and gloom rut that could have used some humor. I always remembered you trying to talk Shep into giving young QBs more than 3 snaps before he went skipping record on "we've seen enough." And Heaven help us if any of the young QBs had red hair and freckles or they weren't "good looking kids" too as he'd often put it.

In a strange way, I kind of miss that entertainment value. Every time he'd remind us he was our QB expert because he predicted success for Aaron Rodgers - it was a riot to watch a well prepared Zombo treat us to a reminder list of all Shep's good lookin QBs that didn't pan out like Matt Leinart, Kyle Boller, Joey Harrington, JP's Lost-man to name a few. And who could forget the groinal warming he had for David Carr? I'll bet he had to keep both hands in his front pockets every time that name got brought.

He wasn't a bad guy though. He was a huge fan of this team - we just had to buffer him down to reality sometimes. Calfox and Lumberg had some hilarious exchanges with Shep.

Yeah Tom,

Great to see you back as well.. I guess you could say My weariness for this teams ineptitude, has got Me more down than in past seasons. It's been the same ol' broken transcript. Year in , Year out!

Speaking of Ol' Shep.. He's still powdering Manziel's cheeks quite liberally, as we have seen him do. over at that "other" establishment across the interweb.

Yes, I miss those days of QB banter with Shep.. I'm still around to remind him of his fetish with Mr. Claustrich :) That was classic Shep in QB Lust. But I like Shep. He's a terrific scribe.. and often brings a neat twist to things.. Hope all's well down your way...
