Journalists are not (should not anyway) just be mouthpieces to repeat any White House talking points. If a republican does get elected in 16 I am sure the mainstream media will discover their investigative reporting again which they have lost under the Obama administration. Our local newspaper, and several newspapers around here... are printed by one newspaper. The same owner(s) own them all. All of the news organizations are conglomerates under the ownership of a few. That is why all of them end up reporting the same facts even if they are wrong. They issue an apology a day later after they all screwed it up. They issue an apology but usually in the case of an individual person or group the damage to a reputation is done and where does a person go to get their reputation back when they are wrongly slandered?
