As much as I want this to be true, you can't just place it on one factor.

sure you can, just like Obama has ruined this country

That is how statistics work. Show some basic correlation over a small set of data points, wish hard enough, and now those variables are in a direct causation relationship.

On the surface it looks very good for the pro gun crowd, but a more in depth analysis would be needed. Obviously many variables at work here.

Yet, libs can post a little poll, and be happy to show how it extrapolates into

supporting their agenda, and that is supposed to be the end all?

Sure, though, there are other factors. But the antigun crowd has to be disappointed

that it didn't show a parallel with rising murder rate with rising CCW permits.

ah well.

ah well.

Now that should be what is championed. Have armed robberies and murders increased over that time? No. Have CCWs increased significantly during the same time period? Yes. So you could say that while CCWs have increased, it has not caused an up tick in crimes like murder that certain politicians swore would happen.

It would be interesting to see this data over many years. Was there already a trend downward in murder? Is it possible the uptick in CCWs is statistically insignificant in relation to murder rate? This article basically gives us two data points, which isn't enough to conclude anything.

Not saying it is or isn't related, but as logic said, the info presented doesn't with 100% certainty (or 95%....) seem to be enough.
