THE BROWNS BOARD

The left will not have the right to enslave America with warped denial of real marriage

There is now a concerted effort by Democrats in Congress to remove the words "husband" and "wife" from federal language, citing the words as being discriminatory and prejudicial.

Following the announcement of the proposed bill, Bishop E.W. Jackson, a prominent signer of our Pledge to Defend Marriage, hit the nail on the head when he told CNSNews, "It is as if a collective madness has settled over our nation's elite and they are trying hard to bring everyone under the same cloud of confusion."

The further America pulls away from God, the more our nation will be enveloped in confusion. "God is not the author of confusion" (1 Cor. 14:33). Please see my update below — Mat.

Representative Lois Capps (D-CA), a self-proclaimed "proud supporter of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community" has introduced The Amend the Code for Marriage Equality Act of 2015, which according to her website, "would strike the use of gendered terms such as 'husband' and 'wife' from the federal code and replace them with more gender-neutral terms, such as 'spouse' or 'married couple.'" The bill has 32 Democrat co-sponsors.
She said her bill, "recognizes that the words in our laws have meaning and can continue to reflect prejudice and discrimination even when rendered null by our highest courts. Our values as a country are reflected in our laws."

In Rep. Capps' personal cloud of confusion, she fails to recognize that the ruling by five black robed lawyers of the Supreme Court cannot render "null" natural marriage any more than they can rule against gravity. Further, our "values as a country" were built upon Christian principles of morality and virtue. Our founding laws are rooted in Judeo-Christian precepts.

+ + Reaction to this bizarre bill was swift and pointed.

As reported by CNSNews, "Rev. Franklin Graham, president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, said in a recent post on his Facebook page …
"They say these are 'gendered terms' that discriminate against homosexuals. You're absolutely right they are gendered terms—because marriage was created to be gendered! The One who created marriage defined it as between a man and a woman."

"Bishop Jackson, president of STAND (Staying True to America's National Destiny), also said, 'Marriage was, is and always will be only a union between one man and one woman. Perceptions change, but reality remains the same. I will oppose any effort to sanitize our legal system of the words husband and wife.'"

+ + We stand with Bishop Jackson and many other Christian leaders in declaring that we will not yield to the "collective madness."

Contrary to the belief of extremists with loud voices amplified by the mainstream media, the fight to protect natural marriage while defending our First Amendment rights is not over. It is just beginning.

We must stand and proclaim the truth!

Liberty Counsel is engaged in judicial and legislative battles across the nation, standing against those who want to redefine marriage and reengineer our culture. We are also fighting to win the debate in the public square. That's why building a litigation war chest is imperative for us to engage in these battles.

We must continue doing everything possible to advance natural marriage and can only do it with your support!

Saw a Tylenol commercial promoting gay marriage. Why would a company selling Tylenol veer off message to promote gay marriage? It is just another in your face that gay marriage is a normal acceptable lifestyle that we get enough of on television already but now it is even in our commercials.

Oh god no! Not our commercials!

Face facts, you're a shrinking minority opinion. People know better now. Gay relationships are a thing. You'll see them now and then. Hate to break it to you.

No because it is true to each and every sense of those two words. Gay marriage is what it is.. I don't care, but don't tell me it's natural. That's a lie.

How natural is it for a species to be monogamous? Some are, some aren't. Homosexuality exists in nature too.

So I guess I just don't see how you can brand what men and women do as "natural" marriage. As if its the only thing in nature

The commercial is about Tylenol not gay marriage but you wouldn't know it by their own commercial. Isn't it usual for a company to promote it's own product such as what Tylenol does to get rid of a headache? What correlation does Tylenol have with gay marriage? None. If Tylenol wants to endorse gay marriage and not sell their product they should get out of the Tylenol business and go into the gay marriage business. Also if they want to go out of their way to offend millions of Americans who believe marriage is between a man and a woman they can suffer the consequences of lost sales.

Right, and they knew that potential consequence going in. If a bunch of ignorant Americans want to stop buying Tylenol because they did a commercial about those that fought to be considered a family, then let them.

Again, you're a shrinking minority. You aren't going to get things your way.

are you new to capitalism or something? The makers of that brand of Tylenol are hoping to "capitalize" on a burgeoning new demographic. Is it cheap advertising? You bet, cause their product don't have shit to do with sexuality.

Pretty soon they will be having commercials selling gerbils and butt lube for the fags.

Yes, that's exactly what's going to happen on national television. You are going to see a cock getting lubed up and inserted into the anus of a man during the superbowl next year. For sure. Like don't even doubt it.

Truth is, the tolerance for gay whatever phoney perverted "marriage"...

is seriously falling out of grace.

After the supreme court ruled, and people are losing careers and livelihoods over it.

and it's being shoved in America's face.

The tentative support is what is shrinking.

Just cause Jenner's jumped the shark with most people doesn't mean anybody's going back on gay marriage. Just get used to it. Jenner on the other hand needs to be shit on. Should not be the spokesperson for that community. The kardashians as a whole desperately need to be deported if the republic is to survive.

I just can't bring myself to give enough of a shit about what other people are doing if it doesn't involve me. I guess I am not a nosey neighbor.

you say that now but when the LGBT community forces your kids to watch gay porn in school and there's commercials during the superbowl for anal lube specifically for me... you'll be singing a completely different tune, just you wait.

Meanwhile, the left is becoming more belligerent about denying

rights to work, etc, to force people to accept gayness.

Perverts.

Another of America's pastors is under assault by an outrageous, unconstitutional mandate, this time in Kentucky. Liberty Counsel's legal team responded in defense of this pastor's right to express biblical values. This case has important implications for every community in America. Please see my update below — Mat.

The Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) revoked the volunteer credentials of an ordained minister because he was unable to sign a statement promising to refrain from ever telling juvenile inmates that homosexuality was "sinful."
In a letter to the Commissioner, Liberty Counsel has given the Department until July 31 to reinstate David Wells' volunteer visitor credentials.

Pastor Wells has served as a volunteer for over ten years, faithfully visiting and mentoring juveniles at the Warren County Regional Juvenile Detention Center, under the prison ministry of Pleasant View Baptist Church in McQuady. Many juveniles are in DJJ custody because of sexual crimes. Pastor Wells must be able to discuss what the Bible says about matters of sexuality with the juveniles he is trying to help. To remove the Bible from a pastor's hands is like removing a scalpel from a surgeon's hands. Without it, they cannot provide healing.

Pastor Wells was barred from visiting, counseling, or leading worship services for juveniles based on DJJ Policy 912 IV(H) "Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity," which states that volunteers:
"hall not refer to juveniles by using derogatory language in a manner that conveys bias towards or hatred of the LGBTQI community. DJJ staff, volunteers, interns, and contractors shall not imply or tell LGBTQI juveniles that they are abnormal, deviant, sinful, or that they can or should change their sexual orientation or gender identity."

DJJ 912 equates the teaching of Biblical morality with ‘derogatory,' ‘biased,' and ‘hateful' speech. In so doing, the DJJ policy creates an unconstitutional, religious litmus test for DJJ access.

The First Amendment prohibits the government from viewpoint discrimination. This detention center may not prohibit the expression of Biblical morality simply because a few DJJ policymakers object to the Bible and its teaching.

+ + Liberty Counsel is standing in the gap for our First Amendment rights!

The First Amendment specifically declares, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."

Those rights are under siege. Pastors, Christian business owners, ministry operators, and many others are being silenced, taken to court, fined, and/or forced to close their doors because of the assaults on our religious liberties and rights of conscience.

Yeah i'm ok with not allowing pastors to tell children incarcerated under the state that something they're doing is sinful which isn't against the law. The reason they're there is because they're committing real crimes against society. I'd be happy if all those little fuckers were doing were buggering each other, we'd all be happy. A pastor can tell children in a church setting what his religion teaches...that's why those kids PARENTS send them there in the first place. If they have a problem with what a pastor is telling their children then they don't send their children to that church. THe pastor is an adjunct to the parents in that setting. Frankly i don't beleive pastors have any place in a jeuvenile corrections facility period. If he's there strictly as a social worker, something he does on the side...than fine. But he's not to be there as part of his direct religious duties.

Kids need ISIS school. Chris

****************************************

That is a typical, ignorant, kneejerky, emotionalistic, narrow-minded, dimwitted,

myopic liberal wingiedingie reaction to actually discussing an issue. Good job.

Good job, as in, you forget or ignore the beheadings, tortures, genocide, sex slavery,

destruction of any part of civilization that makes them wish they could kill more.

How a liberal can think just one tree is the entire forest is a profound, psychological anomaly.

Kids need a school where religion is taught as standard, where they understand homosexuality is a sin, where they learn to respect/fear the teachers. Kids need ISIS school.

Kids need a school where they are taught that being homosexual means job security, being a great great great great grandchild of a slave means a free ride as well as legal protection from any perceived slight and speaking the name of a key figure in the country's largest religion will get you reprimanded if not fired.

:)
