The Gipper
The schools that have the lowest rated "best player" are: Connecticut: Will Beatty has a 30 score Army: Bob Mischak has a 32 score South Florida: Anthony Henry has 39 score Houston: Simon Fletcher has a 62 score Cincinnati: Trent Cole has a 67 score From the actual power 5, Vanderbilt with Jay Cutler has the lowest best player score with 76....but he will add to that. Chris Hinton of Northwestern has the lower score for a P5 retired player.
TexasAg1969
Alan Page over Joe Montana from Notre Dame? I don't think so. And Tomlinson over Sligin' Sammy Baugh from TCU? Nah. And A&M's Richmond Webb should be in the HOF for 7 consecutive Pro Bowls, but so should an even better player, 5 time Pro bowler and 2 time Superbowl winning Lester Hayes, one of the best shut down corners ever when he won with the Raiders. No one in their right mind threw his way just like they try to avoid Richard Sherman now.
wargograw
Or good ole Shane Lechler. Dont know how Texas' isn't Earl Campbell. Cal comes down to a debate about whether Lynch has had a better career than Rodgers. Any case there?
Guest
PFR measures productivy, not necessarily "best". The "Weighted PFR" is more about a sustained career peak. I dont think Oklahoma thinks of Troy Aikman as one of their own since he left and starred at UCLA. Z
