Well that didn't really answer it did it? Reason being socialism has a pretty wide array of variables when you consider socialist countries one by one by one. If we are talking about Chris Matthews and Debbie Wasserman Schultz she was unable to draw a distinction between socialists as in Bernie Sanders and Democrats as in Hillary. It's a very blurry line at best no?

I try not to argue political/social theory based on individual decisions because you get the Joe Manchins and Chris Smiths of the world. Politicians typically vote for what they believe will improve or solidify their position in the world. I would say the same for countries.

Of course that's correct bacon, I'm just commenting on the OP. Ironically I was watching Chris Matthews when that interchange took place. Frankly it surprised me that he called debbie Wasserman Schultz out on the carpet. But he did. She's kind of the Democrat version of Sarah Palin but she doesn't get nearly enough abuse. She just couldn't describe the difference between Bernie Sanders and Hillary, socialist vs Democrat.

The huge difference is, surely Wasserman is

100 percent dishonest about her unlimited and asinine

support of the dems and Obamao.

Even Palin criticizes the reps a good bit.

My point is that they both seem a little bit intellectually challenged at times and only Palin has been made a fool of by the left wing media. Debbie Wasserman Schultz has somehow avoided that treatment. Coincidence or political bias? The answer is clear to me.

If Wasserman Schultz becomes a serious Vice Presidential candidate you'll hear the pundits on right make more noise but she hasn't even risen to the Bachmann level yet.

But again allow me to refer you to the original post. Not the difference between a liberal and a Democrat but the difference between a socialist and he Democrat of which there are one of each running for the Democratic nomination.

The main difference for me is Sanders has been allowed to be the loose cannon who rails against the machine while Clinton understands that you aren't going to tear down the system and keep it running at the same time. Clinton supports higher tariffs on imports, Sanders wants an overhaul of the corporate tax code.

Yep. The leftist run media will never make a fool out of one of their own, no matter how outrageously stupid they sound, yet the left went to extremes to try and tear down Palin.

And I don't think Sanders will have any luck rearranging our system of government single handedly.

Ironic that Hillary and Donald Trump are on the same page.

I think that being married to the President and Secretary of State illuminate the need to compromise on some level. Sanders has been lucky that he can act like the Democrat version of Rand Paul and his constituents eat it up.

You must hate Nascar with all the left in it. Sarah Palin became a caricature of her own accord, she didn't need the media to tear her down.

The media went after her husband, kids, and misquoted her. Palins so called gaffe about Paul Revere became a major news story, and it turned out she was correct....then you have all this shit: http://townhall.com/columnists/johnhawkins/2013/05/07/the-7-most-despicable-ways-liberals-have-attacked-sarah-palin-n1589064/page/full

Ever hear Nancy Pelosi speak?

The funny thing is the free shit voters tend to vote Republican. If you look at the states who typically receive the most aid they go red.

Of course as we should know states dont vote. People do. I have no doubt that you will find in those states, the poorest ones, that the overwhelming majority of those who receive welfare vote Democrat.

PS take the bottom seven states and do a little demographic research...
